Remove screws from bottom restrictor arm track and save screws for
reuse. Repeat for top restrictor arm.
For windows with restrictor arm (width more than 30"),
proceed to Step 2.
For windows without restrictor arm (width less than 30"),
proceed to Step 4.

Unlock and open sash.

Rotate top and bottom restrictor arm and restrictor arm track toward sash.

Rotate top and bottom hinge arm toward sash.
Rotate upper and lower hinge arm toward sash.

Release bottom hinge arm from hinge channel stud using a at blade screwdriver. Repeat for top
hinge arm.
Releasing hinge arm allows sash to
swing freely. Sash may suddenly
swing out and break free causing
injury and/or product damage.
Support sash during entire
replacement process.

Hold sash rmly and slide top and bottom hinge shoes from ends of hinge channels. Place sash on a clean, at surface with interior side facing up.
Hold sash rmly and slide upper and lower hinge shoes from ends of hinge channels. Place sash on a at surface with interior side facing up.

Remove hinge screws from top and bottom of sash. Save for reuse.
Remove hinge screws using a drill/driver and save for reuse.
Position new hinges tight to sash.
Position new hinge tight to sash.
Remove hinges and dispose of properly.

Lift sash into unit opening. Position top hinge shoe into end of top hinge channel rst, then bottom hinge shoe into end of bottom hinge
channel and slide sash in place.Lift sash into unit opening. Position upper hinge shoe into end of upper hinge channel rst, then lower
hinge shoe into end of lower hinge channel and slide sash in place.

Close and lock sash.

Re-engage top and bottom hinge arm to hinge channel stud.
Re-engage upper and lower hinge arm to hinge channel stud.
Reposition top and bottom restrictor arm track and fasten using saved
screws.
