Assembly

1 Retrieve the louvred air intakes (Stage 5) and prepare the middle upper fuselage section (D011) and AP screws. Insert

the left louvred air intake into the opening on the left side of the fuselage.

2 Secure the air intake from the inside of the fuselage

with three AP screws. 3 Insert the right louvred air intake into the opening in

the right side of the fuselage and secure from the inside

with three AP screws.

4 Here is how the middle upper fuselage section should look at the end of this stage.

1. D012 - middle upper fuselage section

2. P039 - ADF antenna

BM screws 2 x 4mm (5 pcs.)

FM screws 1.7 x 3mm (3 pcs.)

Assembly

Stage 7: Middle upper

fuselage section

1 Place the ADF antenna (P039) into the

the corresponding opening in the middle

fuselage upper section (D012). Secure the

antenna from the inside of the fuselage with

two FM screws.

2 Take the middle upper fuselage section from Stage 6 and place it forward of the section from this stage,

as shown.

3 Turn the parts

over and align

the holes of

both parts.

Secure the two

pieces of the

fuselage with

four BM screws.

4 Here is how the the fuselage sections should look at the end of this stage.

Screws CM 1.3 x 3.5 mm (2 pcs.)

Stage 8: Tail upper

1 Take the air intake (D014)

and place it into the

corresponding place in the

rear upper fuselage section

(D013), as shown.

2 Turn the fuselage over,

holding the air intake in

place and secure from the

inside with one CM screw.

3 Here is how the rear upper

fuselage section should

look at the end of this stage.

Assembly

1 Take the port afterburner

nozzle (P040) and place it

inside the tail upper fuselage

section ( D015).

2 Turn the parts over and secure the

nozzle with two CM screws.

3 Fit the starboard afterburner nozzle (P041) into the starboard side of the tail upper fuselage section and secure from the

inside with two CM screws.

D016 - Middle upper fuselage frame

BM screws 2 x 4 mm (16 pcs.)

Stage 10: Middle upper

fuselage frame

Assembly

1 Retrieve the middle upper fuselage section assembled in

Stage 7.

2 Place the middle upper fuselage frame (D016) on the

inside of the fuselage sections. Secure the frame into

position with BM screws.

3 Here is how the assembly should look at the end of this

stage. Keep it to one side for use in a later stage.
