1 Retrieve the upper fuselage

assembly. The frames

supplied with this stage

are labelled R1–7. Take

frame R1 (P077) and place

it into the notches at

the front of the engine

compartment, as indicated.

Carefully press the ends of

the frame into place.

1 Place the upper airbrake

panel (D047) between the

two engine compartments

in the rear fuselage (D015),

as shown.

2 Turn the fuselage over and insert the axle (X003) into the holes in the panel.

3 Place the axle plate (P084) over the axle and secure with two BM screws.

Stage 28: The upper

airbrake hydraulic

actuators

Assembly

1 Fix the two hydraulic

actuator barrel

hinges (D051) to

the fuselage frame

with two FM screws,

as shown.

2 Insert the hydraulic actuator rod (D049) into the hydraulic actuator

barrel (P088). Then ﬁx the hydraulic actuator rod hinge (P086) to

the end of the rod with an FP screw. Repeat this process to create

the second hydraulic actuator.

3 Place the barrels into the

barrel hinges and then

secure the rod hinges to the

upper airbrake panel using

the grey FM screws.

4 Fix the barrels into the

barrel hinges with KM

screws. The upper airbrake

panel should now be held

by the actuators.

the fuselage frame,
