B28-OW-105

Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.

PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.

Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.

A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due

care and remember to cut away from yourself at all times.

During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold

pieces in place while you allow glue to dry.

A Parts list / directory can be found at the end of these instructions.

You may find it beneficial to mark the back of each piece with its reference number once you have

removed it from the sprue.

Ground Floor

Remove the ground floor base (1), base supports

(2 -> 6) and steps (9 -> 12) from the sprue. Lay

them out as shown above. Note there are holes

in the supports designed to take the lugs on the

steps.

Glue the step bases onto the underside of each of the

step pieces. (8 under 7, 9 under 10 and 12 under 11)

Turn the base over and glue the supports into

position using the lugs/holes provided. Glue the

steps into position. Leave to dry.

Once dry, turn this assembly over.

Remove the ground floor internal walls (13 ->17)

and external walls (18 -> 22) from the sprue. Glue

the internal and external back walls together

(parts 13 & 18), then glue them to the base,

slotting them into the holes provided. Repeat this

for the right wall (parts 14 & 19) and the left

walls (17 & 22).

Repeat this process with the front wall (parts 16 & 21),

then glue the doorway into position (parts 15 & 20).

Note – the swing doors can be either glued into

position, or left hanging from the lugs provided.

Allow this assembly time to dry.

Carefully remove the internal staircase (23) and

steps (24 – 7 pieces) from the sprue.

Apply glue to one end of each step and stick it into the

holes provided in the internal back wall as shown

above.

Apply glue to the open end of each step and

gently using a knife to life each step, insert the

end into the staircase (23) until all have slotted

into position.

To create the supports, remove pieces 25 -> 30 from

the sprue. There are 6 supports with 3 arms (25), 3

supports with a separate left arm (26) and 2 supports

with a separate right arm (28).

On each support, glue a support base (30) to

each side as shown.

Position the supports for the left side of the building as

shown above. (26 on left and 28 on right)

Position the supports for the front of the building

as shown (28 on right).

Position the supports for the right of the building as

shown (26 on both left and right)

Glue the supports onto the saloon base (there is

a square engraved around each pillars hole). Do

not attach the separate arms at this point.

To add the support rail, start with the back left piece

(31) and run anti-clockwise around the building with

pieces 32 -> 36. The lugs in the tops of the supports fit

into the holes provided. As you attach each rail, glue

the separate arms into position.

Remove pieces for the back stairs from the sprue

(pieces 38 -> 41). Glue the platform (41), side

(37) and back (40) together as shown above.

Once dry, glue the steps (39) into place, then attach

the opposite rail (38). Again, leave to dry.

Allow to dry.

Glue the back stairs into position using the holes

provided in the back wall of the saloon.

Finally add the window sills (42) and windows (43) to

the ground floor. The sills will be a snug fit at the

bottom of the window spaces.

Upstairs

Remove the upper base (44), the four internal

walls (45 -> 48) and four external walls (49 -> 52)

from the sprue. Glue the two back wall sections

(45 & 49) back to back, then put them into

position. Do the same with the right wall pieces

(46 & 50).

Continue working round the structure adding the front

wall (pieces 47 & 51) then left wall (pieces 48 & 52).

This will give you a hollow square structure.

Glue the long wall pieces (53 & 54) back to back,

then into position using the lugs/holes provided.

Ensure the notch in the top of the wall is towards

the front of the building (as shown).

Takes the dividing wall (part 55 x2). Glue them back to

back, then slide them into position (see above).

Glue the left room pieces (56 & 57) back to back,

them put them into position.

Individually add pieces 58 and 59.

Repeat this for the right hand room using pieces

60 -> 63.

Remove the balcony pieces (64 -> 69) from the sprue

and lay them out around the building as shown.

Starting with the back left piece (64), work round

the building adding the left (65) and front (66)

pieces.

Then position the back right piece (69), right piece (68)

and finally the diagonal (67).

Extract the landing railings from the sprue.

(pieces 70 -> 73).

Glue them into position a shown.

Finally add the window sills (42) and windows

(43) to the upper floor window spaces.

Roof

Remove the roof base (74). Glue the front pieces

(76 & 79) back to back, then put them into

position. Repeat this for the left wall (75 & 78)

and right wall (77 & 80).

Finally glue the Saloon sign into place.

The three layers sit on top of each other and are

held in position with the lugs in the corners of

each level.
