Iftheuserhaselectronicequipmentitshouldbeatleast2metresawayfromtheReachPlusGSMunit.
Failuretoprovidethisseparationmayresultinreducedrangeofpersonalpendantsorotherradiodevices.
DonotlocatetheReachPlusGSMunitnearadirectheatsource,e.g.adjacenttoorabovearadiatororotherheat
source,oronawindowsillindirectsunlight.

WheninstallingaReachPlusGSMunitensureallradiotriggerdevicesincludingthosethatmayhavebeenpreviously
installede.g.smokedetectors,PIR'setc.areregisteredwiththeReachPlusGSMunit.Oncecompleteatestcallshould
beraisedfromeachtriggerdevicetotheARCtoensureitisreceivedandthetriggerdeviceiscorrectlyidentified.

TheReachPlusGSMunitincludesdelicateelectronicstoallowwatertocomeintocontactwithitisdangerousand
maycausedamage.Iftheunitdoesgetwet;unplugitfromthemainssupplyandswitchoffimmediately,thencontact
yourServiceProviderbeforeattemptingtoreuseit.
YoucandusttheReachPlusGSMorTouchPendantwithasoftclothorsoftbrush.Forparticularlysoiledunitswipe
cleanwithadampclothandanonabrasivecleaningproduct,polishwithadryduster.
DONOTuseawetclothontheReachPlusGSMunit.
Avoidusingharsh,abrasiveorcorrosivecleaningagentsordetergents(e.g.scouringpowders,bleaches,polishes,etc.)
whencleaningtheReachPlusGSMorTouchPendant.
BoththeReachPlusGSMandTouchPendantcontainbatteriesandshouldthereforenotbedisposedofindomestic
waste.RefertoTynetec’sTelecareBatteryManagementinformation(DocNo.FM0630)fordetailsonbatterytypes,
changingintervalsandsafedisposal.

TheTouchpendantsuppliedinthecartonisprelearnedintotheReachPlusGSM,anyadditional
pendantsorotherradiodevicesshouldbelearnedandtestedasdescribedinsections2.7and2.8.
TheTouchpendantcanbeusedtomakeanemergencycallfromanywhereinoraroundthehome.
TheTouchpendantiswaterproofbutitshouldnotbefullysubmergedforprolongedperiods.
TheTouchpendantisalifesavingdevice;remembertoadvisetheusertowearitatalltimesandtokeep
itbytheirbedatnight.
TheTouchpendantissuppliedwithakitofpartssoitcanbewornaroundtheneck,clippedontoabelt
orpocket,oronthewristlikeawatch.

rubberbootthenpushtheTouchpendant
insidethebootwiththesilverbuttonaccessible. 
