Make any adjustments to the plate so that it fits.
Then apply glue to the highlighted areas of the
wing which will be in contact with the plate.

Place the plate onto the left half of the wing, as
shown in the photo.

Glue the plate into position. Make holes in the
plate at the arrowed points and then insert a nail
into each hole.

Place plate 6 onto the template from this stage
to identify it. Transfer the lines from the template
onto the plate.
Glue the plate into position, and when dry, pierce
holes in the four arrowed corners.
Mark the rivets along the lines.
Gently hammer a nail into the four holes.
The wing should now look like this. Keep any
unused parts to one side.

template onto the plate.

Place plate 6 on the template from Stage 68.
Transfer the lines on the template onto plate 6.

Place the plate on the right half of the wing to
test-fit. Make any necessary adjustments and
place to one side.

Place plates 4 and 6 onto the right side of the
wing, as shown. Adjust plate 6 to fit if necessary.

Remove both plates and apply glue to the contact
points between the wing and plate 6.
When dry, pierce a hole at the four arrowed points.
Glue plate 6 into position. You can use plate 4 as
a guide.

The wing should now look like the one shown above. Keep
any unused parts to one side.

Take the reinforcement parts fret and label
the parts in pencil, with the letter shown. Then
remove parts A and B and sand them smooth.
Place the engine cover on a flat surface. Test-fit
and glue parts A and B in position. Make sure they
are glued flush with the outer edge of the frames.

Glue the assembly in place, up against the front
frame. Make sure the flat edge of part F is aligned
with the flat edge of the frame.

Retrieve the front fuselage and insert part E of the
previous step’s assembly into the front frame to
test-fit.

Remove parts E and F from the fret and sand them
smooth. Apply glue (circle) to part F and place part
E onto it, aligning the holes of both.

When dry, test-fit the propeller assembly in the
holes, as shown.

Remove parts C and D from the fret. Smooth all
parts with sandpaper.
Glue the two D parts to the frame, as shown,
aligned with the outer edge of the frame.
Turn the front fuselage over and glue the two C
parts to the frame indicated above.
Remove and sand parts G and H. Then glue them
to the fuselage frames at the locations shown.
The fuselage and engine cover should now look
like this. Keep any unused parts to one side.
