To save the programming, remember to exit from the same by
pressing the button for more then 5 seconds; in any case,
after 10 minutes the device exists the programming state and
saves the parameters changed. Refer to the paragraph “Optional
programming” for how to program intercom calls.

INSTALLATION
To install video door phone perform the following operations:
Fix the bracket to the wall using a box 503 and the screws provided
or a Ø 60 mm box with suitable screws.
Program the dip switches.
Connect the wires from the system to the terminal board.
Couple the monitor to the bracket and lock it by screwing fastening
screws “A”

The dip switches must always be arranged in the correct setting
for correct operation of the system in this case.
CODE: user code
Set a number from 0 to 126 according to the following rules:
No two apartments in the system can have the same user code.
Indoor stations in parallel in the same apartment must have the
same user code
User codes be consecutive in the same column must
Use the CODE dip switches from 2 to 8 (2 = most signifi cant bit
- 8 = least signifi cant bit) to set the required code. Dip switch 1
must be OFF.

INT: apartment station code
Set a number from 0 to 3 according to the following rules:
The indoor station code must be 0 if there is only one station in
the apartment.
Up to 4 apartment stations can be connected in parallel using the
same user code and different indoor station codes.

The indoor station code is used to identify the single stations of the
same user. This means that intercom calls can be address to the single
user in the same apartment. All the users indoor stations will ring at
the same time in the event of intercom calls to different apartments,
door unit calls and fl oor calls.
The following considerations, should also be taken into account:
Extension 0 rings immediately when a call is received. Extensions
1, 2 and 3 will ring in sequence after each other.
Apartment station 0 will enable monitor switch-on if the call is
from a video calling station.
The button
can be pressed on any other apartment station of
the same user to switch on the other video door phone (‘video
switching’ function).
LINE TERMINAL SETTINGS
To set line terminals, see product code 1750/50 (see below).
PERFORMANCE
SETTING CALL RECEPTION AND ‘VIDEO SWITCHING
FUNCTION
The user’s apartment station will ring with the programmed tone when
a call is received according to the source:
From main door unit
From secondary door unit
Intercom call
Floor calls
From switchboard
When the door phone or video door phone call is received, it is always
possible to activate the door unit electric lock also without activating
the communication.
If in the apartment there are several apartment stations in parallel,
the stations ring in sequence. The user internal code 0 also performs
the video door phone power-on, if the call comes from a video door
phone call station. In this case, during the off-hook waiting time (60s
from the call), the other internal codes can turn their video door phone
on by pressing the auto-on button
(‘video switching’ function), until
one of the video door phones of the called user answers.
If the image is already displayed, press the button
to cyclically display
images coming from other control cameras of the caller station only.
After the audio activation, the image coming from the main camera will
be displayed only on the screen of the answering apartment station.
Therefore the camera image will be displayed on one apartment
station at a time.
ANSWERING A CALL
Pick up the handset to establish a conversation with the door phone.
Hang up the handset to end the conversation and switch off the
display.
ADJUSTING THE RINGER SPEAKER (MUTE)
Hold button pressed for longer than 5 seconds; the yellow LED
will blink slowly to indicate that programming mode is selected.
In any case, after 10 minutes the system exits the programming
state and saves the modifi ed parameters.
Press the button
to change the ringer volume.
Quit programming mode when the required level is set
(HIGH,LOW,MUTE).
The multicolour LED 7 will blink to indicate mute status.

SUPPLEMENTARY RINGER
The video door phone is provided with a pair of terminals (S+, S-) for
connecting a supplementary ringer or relay. This ringer is controlled
when any call tone is generated.
FLOOR CALL
The video door phone is equipped with a pair of terminal pins (CP) for
the connection of a fl oor call button.
When a fl oor call is received, the video door phone emits a ring,
according to the ring tone selected by the user; the display does not
turn on. If the user has several apartment stations in parallel, connect
this button to only one apartment station. The internal codes will ring
in sequence.
AUTO-ON
The auto-on function allows to see on the display the image captured
by system call modules. When the system is in standby, video door
phone in standby with handset on hook, press the
button and wait
for the image to appear on the video door phone (the fi rst image which
will appear is the one coming from the main calling module 0); press
the
button to pass to the next calling modules and/or successive
cameras.
The fi rst images displayed are those coming from the main call
modules, then secondary of the belonging column.
Pick up the handset to establish audio and video communication
with the selected door unit. The door of the selected door unit can be
opened at any time.
The auto-on function can not be performed if the column is already in
conversation. If the auto-on function is activated when the column is
already in conversation, the video door phone will emit an alert tone.
INTERCOM CALL FORWARDING
After programming the button for the intercom function, pickup the
handset and press the button.
The following cases can occur according to the calling indoor station
state:
Indoor station free: the calling indoor station will output a
confi rmation tone (2 beeps) and the called indoor station will ring.
Communication is established when the called user picks up.
Indoor station busy: the indoor station outputs a warning tone (4
beeps in rapid sequence). Hang up and try again later.
DOOR OPEN LED
The function is only active for the last called video door phone on
which the door opening button was pressed and corresponding to the
last calling door unit; see the “LED indications” for more details.
Open door function is available only if a suitable sensor has been
connected to the door unit.

§
OPTIONAL PROGRAMMING
The following programming operations are needed after testing the
basic operation of the system, only if are required.
INTERCOM FUNCTION
Buttons ( ,
, ) can be programmed in 2Voice systems for
intercom call functions.
One button can be programmed to call another user in the column
or to call an indoor station in parallel. All indoor stations of the called
user will ring in the fi rst case. Only the specifi cally programmed indoor
station will ring in the second case.
INTERCOM FUNCTION BETWEEN VARIOUS USERS
Go to the indoor station to be programmed as caller (indoor station
A).
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds. The yellow
LED will blink slowly to confi rm that programming mode is selected.
In all cases, the device will quit programming mode and save any
changes after 10 minutes.
Hold the button to be programmed pressed for at least three
seconds until the confi rmation tone is heard.
Go to the user who will be called by pressing the button (user B)
and press the door opener button. The apartment stations will be
beep to indicate that they have been programmed.
Alternatively, go to a calling station and press the calling button
of user B. The indoor station being programming (A) will beep to
indicate that it has been programmed. The indoor stations of user
B will ring when this occurs. Ignore this call.
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds to quit
programming mode.
Check the programmed function: release the handset A and press
the programmed button Check that all indoor stations of user B ring
and check reply audio.
You will need to program indoor station B to call A to make the
opposite call possible.
INTERCOM FUNCTION IN THE SAME APARTMENT
Go to the apartment station to be programmed as caller (indoor
station C1).
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds. The yellow
LED will blink slowly to confi rm that programming mode is selected.
In all cases, the device will quit programming mode and save any
changes after 10 minutes.
Hold the button to be programmed pressed for at least three
seconds until the confi rmation tone is heard.
Go to the apartment station that the button will call (apartment
station C2) and press the door opener button. The apartment
stations C1 and C2 will be beep to indicate that they have been
programmed.
Hold the
button pressed for longer than 5 seconds to quit
programming mode
Check the programmed function: release the handset C1 and press
the programmed button. Check that the apartment station C2 rings
and check audio
You will need to program apartment station C2 to call C1 to make
the opposite call possible.
CALL TONE PROGRAMMING
In 2VOICE system each user can select the door phone call ring tone
and the fl oor call ring tone among the 5 available ones.
VIDEO DOOR PHONE CALL RING TONE
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds. The yellow
LED will blink slowly to confi rm that programming mode is selected.
In all cases, the device will quit programming mode and save any
changes after 10 minutes.

When the call ring tone has been selected, exit the programming

To restore default parameters of the device after entering programming
mode, hold button pressed for longer than 5 seconds, press the
and buttons together for longer than 3 seconds. The system will
emit two long beeps to confi rm and exit the programming state.
KIT FOR TABLE MOUNTING Ref. 1750/92
The video door phone can be table-mounted using a specifi c
transformation kit Ref. 1750/92.
For installation, follow the procedure below:
1. Fix the bracket on the table top stand
2-3. Insert the cable in the rear hole of the mount and fi x it by means
of the U-bolt and the screws provided. Connect the wires to the
specifi c terminals on the bracket.
4. Extract the stop hook on the video door phone, insert the video
door phone and the bracket and lock it by pushing the hook
upwards.
5. Mount the feet on the bottom side of the support.

1. Remove the old video door phone bracket
2. On the frame match the hole A and the hole in the lower right side
of the wall
3. When replacing the video door phone model Atlantico, draw and
drill holes in points A1-A2. When replacing the video door phone
model Signo, draw and drill holes in points A1.
4. If necessary, remove the plaster under the grey area in order to
make the connecting wires from the system pass through easier.
5. Fasten the frame to the wall by using the provided screws and
anchor bolts

The video door phones Ref.1750/5 and 1750/6 are designed by the
Urmet Mechanical Design Technical Offi ce and can be used to control
simple home automation systems with Yokis in addition to all the
video door phone functions.
The models available are of two different colors:
Black: Ref. 1750/5
White: Ref. 1750/6
DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE
The main features of the video door phone are the following:

INT: apartment station code
Set a number from 0 to 3 according to the following rules:
The indoor station code must be 0 if there is only one station in the
apartment.
Up to 4 apartment stations can be connected in parallel using the
same user code and different indoor station codes.

The indoor station code is used to identify the single stations of the
same user. This means that intercom calls can be address to the single
user in the same apartment. All the users indoor stations will ring at
the same time in the event of intercom calls to different apartments,
door unit calls and fl oor calls.
The following considerations, should also be taken into account:
Extension 0 rings immediately when a call is received. Extensions 1,
2 and 3 will ring in sequence after each other.
Apartment station 0 will enable monitor switch-on if the call is from
a video calling station.

PERFORMANCE
SETTING CALL RECEPTION AND ‘VIDEO SWITCHING
FUNCTION
The user’s apartment station will ring with the programmed tone when
a call is received according to the source:
From main door unit
From secondary door unit
Intercom call
Floor calls
From switchboard
When the door phone or video door phone call is received, it is always
possible to activate the door unit electric lock also without activating
the communication. If in the apartment there are several apartment
stations in parallel, the stations ring in sequence. The user internal
code 0 also performs the video door phone power-on, if the call
comes from a video door phone call station.
In this case, during the off-hook waiting time (60s from the call), the
other internal codes can turn their video door phone on by pressing
the auto-on button (‘video switching’ function), until one of the
video door phones of the called user answers. If the image is already
displayed, press the button to cyclically display images coming from
other control cameras of the caller station only.
After the audio activation, the image coming from the main camera will
be displayed only on the screen of the answering apartment station.
Therefore the camera image will be displayed on one apartment
station at a time.
ANSWERING A CALL
Press the button to establish a conversation with the caller (the
button will start blinking as soon as it is pressed). Press the button
again to end the conversation and switch off the display.

MUTE RING-TONE SPEAKER
It is possible to adjust the call volume to the point of excluding the ring
tone (Mute) by moving the sliding Cursor.
The mute state is indicated by a red signal visible in the upper part of
the cursor.
If the cursor is in the MUTE position, in case of a call the video
door phone video module will turn on if it is a video call; moreover,
all the acoustic signals (beeps) will be disabled. Supplementary
ring-tone events will not be excluded.
SUPPLEMENTARY RINGER
The video door phone is equipped with a pair of terminals (S+, S-) for
connecting a supplementary ringer or a relay. This ringer is controlled
when any call tone is generated.
FLOOR CALL
The video door phone is equipped with a pair of terminals (CP) for
connecting the fl oor call button. If a fl oor call is received, the video
door phone will play the ring tone selected by the user. Connect this
button to one extension only if there are multiple apartment stations in
parallel. The apartment stations will ring in sequence.
AUTO-ON
The auto-on function allows to see on the display the image captured
by system call modules. When the system is in standby, video door
phone in standby with handset on hook, press the button and wait
for the image to appear on the video door phone (the fi rst image which
will appear is the one coming from the main calling module 0); press
the button to pass to the next calling modules and/or successive
cameras. The fi rst images displayed are those coming from the main
call modules, then secondary of the belonging column.
Activate audio by pressing the button to establish an audio and
video communication with the calling station selected at that time.
Press the button again to end auto-on.
The auto-on function can not be performed if the column is already in
conversation. If the auto-on function is activated when the column is
already in conversation, the video door phone will emit an alert tone.
INTERCOM FUNCTION
Buttons , can be programmed in 2Voice systems for intercom call
functions.
One button can be programmed to call another user in the column
or to call an indoor station in parallel. All indoor stations of the called
user will ring in the fi rst case. Only the specifi cally programmed indoor
station will ring in the second case.
INTERCOM FUNCTION BETWEEN VARIOUS USERS
Go to the indoor station to be programmed as caller (indoor station
A).
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds. The yellow
LED will blink slowly to confi rm that programming mode is
selected. In all cases, the device will quit programming mode and
save any changes after 10 minutes.
Hold the button to be programmed pressed for at least three
seconds until the confi rmation tone is heard.
Go to the user who will be called by pressing the button (user B)
and press the door opener button. The apartment stations will be
beep to indicate that they have been programmed.
Alternatively, go to a calling station and press the calling button
of user B. The indoor station being programming (A) will beep to
indicate that it has been programmed. The indoor stations of user
B will ring when this occurs. Ignore this call.
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds to quit
programming mode.
Check the programmed function: release the handset A and press
the programmed button. Check that all indoor stations of user B
ring and check reply audio.
You will need to program indoor station B to call A to make the
opposite call possible.

INTERCOM FUNCTION IN THE SAME APARTMENT
Go to the apartment station to be programmed as caller (indoor
station C1).
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds. The yellow
LED will blink slowly to confi rm that programming mode is
selected. In all cases, the device will quit programming mode and
save any changes after 10 minutes.
Hold the button to be programmed pressed for at least three
seconds until the confi rmation tone is heard.
Go to the apartment station that the button will call (apartment
station C2) and press the door opener button. The apartment
stations C1 and C2 will be beep to indicate that they have been
programmed.
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds to quit
programming mode.
Check the programmed function: release the handset C1 and
press the programmed button. Check that the apartment station
C2 rings and check audio.
You will need to program apartment station C2 to call C1 to make
the opposite call possible.
OPERATION WITH A HEARING AID
The video door phone is equipped with a device that enables the
hearing impaired with a hearing aid to be able to hear the person
talking from the calling station or from other video door phones in case
of calls from the switchboard. The device is capable of interfacing
with hearing aids with “T” function at a distance of about 20 cm.
ACTIVATING AUDIO BY PRESSING THE (PUSH TO
TALK MODE) BUTTON
If the communication between the calling station and the door phone
is disturbed, it is possible to activate the two audio channels (inwards
and outwards) individually.
After having received a call, short press to activate the audio from
the door unit, then if the button is held pressed down, the audio
channel is activated externally and the user can speak to the caller.
To listen, it is necessary to press the button.
To end the conversation, shortly press button.
CALL TONE PROGRAMMING
In 2VOICE system each user can select the door phone call ring tone
and the fl oor call ring tone among the 5 available ones.

CLEANING
You can clean the video door phone by gently rubbing a damp cloth
on the display.
INSTALLATION
The additional power supply module must be installed
in a service panel on a DIN rail. The max. length of the
connection cables between the power supply and the
video door phone must be less than 20m.
To install the video door phone, proceed as follows:
Fix the bracket to the wall using a box 503 and the provided
screws or a box Ø 60 with suitable screws

INSTALLATION

Confi gure the programming dip switches.
Connect to the terminal strip on the bracket the wires for panic
function, additional ringer, fl oor call and power supply from the
external power supply unit.
Connect the system bus wires to LINE IN and LINE OUT terminal
strips.
Fix the monitor to the bracket and block it by moving the suitable
hook to the left.
Power the local power supply with mains.

The dip switches must always be arranged in the correct setting
for correct operation of the system in this case.
CODE: user code
Set a number from 0 to 126 according to the following rules:
No two apartments in the system can have the same user code.
Indoor stations in parallel in the same apartment must have the
same user code
User codes be consecutive in the same column must
Use the CODE dip switches from 2 to 8 (2= most signifi cant
bit - 8= least signifi cant bit) to set the required code. Dip
switch 1 must be OFF.

INT: apartment station code
Set a number from 0 to 3 according to the following rules:
The indoor station code must be 0 if there is only one station in
the apartment.
Up to 4 apartment stations can be connected in parallel using the
same user code and different indoor station codes.
The indoor station code is used to identify the single stations of the
same user. This means that intercom calls can be address to the single
user in the same apartment. All the users indoor stations will ring at
the same time in the event of intercom calls to different apartments,
door unit calls and fl oor calls.
The following considerations, should also be taken into account:
Extension 0 rings immediately when a call is received. Extensions
1, 2 and 3 will ring in sequence after each other.
If the call comes from a video door phone call station, the internal
code 0 enables the displaying of the image, while internal codes
1, 2 and 3 turn on only.
However, the other internal codes of the same user can keep the
button
pressed to display the image on their monitor.
This function is available only if the additional power supply
unit is installed.

LINE TERMINATION SETTING

On the video door phone there is a jumper which allows to insert the
line termination. The termination must be activated in all the devices
installed at the end of a line that does not start again with another
segment from the terminal pins LINE OUT.

CALL RECEPTION
After an incoming call, the apartment station rings with the confi gured
ring tone, according to the call source:
From the main door unit
From a secondary door unit
Intercom
Floor
From the switchboard
During the communication, it is possible to access some functions of
the main menu. To access these functions, press the button
in the
upper left side.
The available functions are the following:
communication

other cameras
displaying

4:3 / 16:9
hide menu
When the door phone or video door phone call is received, it is always
possible to activate the door unit electric lock also without activating
the communication.
In case of door phone calls, intercom calls or calls coming
from the switchboard, some functions could be not
available.
‘VIDEO SWITCHING’ FUNCTION
If in the apartment there are several apartment stations in parallel, the
stations ring in sequence. If the call comes from a video door phone
call station, the user internal code 0 manages also the displaying of
the image, while the icon
appears on the other internal codes. In
this case, during off-hook waiting time (60 seconds starting from the
call), the other internal codes can see on their video door phone the
image coming from the camera by pressing the auto-on button
(‘video switching function’), until a video door phone of the called user
answers.
If the image is already displayed, press the button
to cyclically
display images coming from other control cameras of the caller station
only.
After audio activation, the image coming from the main camera will
only be displayed in the apartment station which has answered.
Therefore the camera image will be displayed on one apartment
station at a time.
In case of audio only call, the icon will not appear.
Use the icon to activate the communication.
ANSWERING THE CALL
By pressing the button , the user establishes a communication
with the caller (the button pressed starts blinking). By pressing again
the button, the communication is closed and the display turns off.

DOOR LOCK RELEASE DURING A CALL AND OPEN
DOOR INDICATION
After a call is received from a door unit or during the communication
with a door unit, the pedestrian or driveway gate can be opened by
pressing the buttons and respectively.
If the call modules are provided with open door sensor (and the
absence service is not active), the led can indicate if the door is
really open or not: the led lights up steady if the open door is the main
one, and blinks if the open door is the secondary one.
MICROPHONE MUTE
When the conversation is established with any system device, the
video door phone microphone can be temporarily turned off by
pressing the button , that starts blinking; so, it is possible to hear
the audio signal coming from the other device while this one can not
hear the video door phone audio signal.
By pressing again the button , the communication is again
bidirectional.
Microphone mute condition is disabled by the video door
phone when the conversation in progress is closed.
ADDITIONAL RINGER
The video door phone is provided with two terminal pins (S+, S-) for
the connection of an additional ringer or a Urmet relay. This ringer is
activated with any call ring.
AUDIO/VIDEO SETTINGS DURING CALL
When a call is received or during a conversation, some audio/video
adjustments can be performed:

In case of video door phone calls, this menu will be
displayed over the image coming from the door unit, while
in case of door phone calls, intercom calls or calls from the
switchboard, only the loudspeaker volume adjustment bar
will be available.
Select the desired value using the buttons + and – near the bar of
each parameter:
Loudspeaker volume,
Brightness
Contrast
Colour
Press OK to confi rm or X to delete the settings.
FLOOR CALL
On the wall mounted bracket, the video door phone is provided with
two terminal pins (CP+ and CP-) for the connection of a fl oor call
button. When a fl oor call is received, the video door phone emits
a ring, according to the ring tone selected by the user; the display
does not turn on. If the user has several apartment stations in parallel,
connect this button to only one apartment station. The internal codes
will ring in sequence.

INTERCOM CALL AND SPECIAL SERVICES
ACTIVATION
It is possible to send calls to other apartments of the same column or
to other apartment stations of the same apartment, or activate special
services.
After the video door phone has been turned on with the button (7), by
pressing the button the following screen will appear:
CODE:
In the upper side select the call type:
Internal call : call inside the same apartment
External call : call outside the apartment, but inside the same
video door phone column.
Special request : Request to a special decoder
CALL TO OTHER STATIONS OF THE SAME APARTMENT
Press the button , enter the number of the station to be called
(from 0 to 3) and confi rm with the button OK.
If the user does not answer within the confi gured time-out, the monitor
turns off.
CALL TO OTHER APARTMENTS
Press the button , enter the user code to be called (from 0 to 127)
and confi rm with the button OK. If the user does not answer within the
confi gured time-out, the monitor turns off.
SPECIAL SERVICES ACTIVATION
Press the button
, enter the number of the special service to be
called (from 0 to 250) and confi rm with the button OK. The service
number is used to activate one or more system special decoder
contacts.
SELECTION FROM DIRECTORY
Codes can be manually entered, otherwise it is possible to access the
directory by pressing the button
.
In this case, to send a call or activate a special decoder, select the
user from those included in the directory and press OK.
If the system is busy, the video door phone emits an alert tone.
The intercom call is only AUDIO.
FUNCTIONING WITH HEARING AID
The video door phone is fi tted with a device that allows hearing-
impaired persons wearing a hearing aid to hear the person speaking
from the call station or from another video door phone in the case of
intercom calls. The device is able to interface hearing aids with “T”
function at a distance of around 20 cm.

AUTO-ON
The auto-on function allows to see on the display the image captured
by system call modules. When the system is in standby mode, press
the button and wait until the image is displayed on the video
door phone (the fi rst displayed image is the one coming from the main
call module number 0); press again the button to go to the next
call modules. The fi rst images displayed are those coming from the
main call modules, then secondary of the belonging column.
By activating the audio with the button , an audio and video
communication is established with the selected call station; by
pressing again the button , the auto-on function is ended.
The auto-on function can not be performed if the column is already in
conversation. If the auto-on function is activated when the column is
already in conversation, the video door phone will emit an alert tone.
During auto-on, all the functions available during a normal conversation
after a call will be active.
CALLING THE SWITCHBOARD
This function allows to establish a communication with the concierge
switchboard: press the button to send the call to the switchboard.
If there is no answer to the call within 10 seconds, the video door phone
will emit an alert tone and the call will be stored in the switchboard.
The call to the switchboard is only AUDIO.
PANIC SIGNALLING
Press the button to activate the function. When the user presses the
button, an assistance request is sent to the concierge switchboard.
RINGER LOUDSPEAKER MUTE
Press to open the following page.

The ringer can be muted permanently or for a predetermined time: 2,
4, 6 , 8, 10, 12 or 24 (hours). The MUTE function will be deactivated
automatically at the end of this time.
Press on this page to enable the MUTE function permanently and
go back to the home page.
To set MUTE for a given time, press the button corresponding to the
required time and press OK to confi rm.
The MUTE function, either permanent or timed, may be deactivated at
any time by pressing the
button on the home page.
The LED will be on when the MUTE function is activated (either
permanently or timed).
The MUTE function will be deactivated if the MODO system is
disconnected from power and will not be reactivated when power is
returned (the LED will off).
AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCK RELEASE
The automatic door lock release function allows to directly open the
door after receiving a call. To activate this function select the icon
. When the function is active, the led turns on.
ABSENCE INDICATION (FOR FUTURE
DEVELOPMENT)
The absence indication service allows to inform the system about the
absence of people inside the apartment. To activate this function from
the video door phone with INT = 0, press the button
.
When the function is active, the led
blinks slowly.
VIDEO DOOR PHONE ANSWERING MACHINE (FOR
FUTURE DEVELOPMENT)
If there are recorded video messages, the led blinks slowly. To
receive messages:
Press the button MENU to access the menu.
Select the icon
and press OK.
This function is available only if the system is provided with
the column video door phone answering machine.
