Designed by architect Toan Nguyen, the “Confort” door phone (Ref.
1183/5) has a perfectly at surface harmonized with the absence of
corners.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE
The main characteristics of door phone are the following:
microphone with speaker, electret microphone and spiral cable to
single telephone plug on base
backlit door opening button with green LED

Multicolour indicator LED (mute, automatic door lock release,
open door, state of programming)

INSTALLATION
To install door phone perform the following operations:
Remove the door phone cover
Fix the base to the wall with the provided screws and screw
anchors
Con gure the programming dip-switches
Connect the wires from the system to the terminal board
Mount again the cover

for correct operation of the system in this case.

Use the CODE dip switches from 2 to 8 (2= most signi cant
bit - 8= least signi cant bit) to set the required code. Dip
switch 1 must be OFF.

user in the same apartment. All the users indoor stations will ring at
the same time in the event of intercom calls to different apartments,
door unit calls and oor calls.
The following considerations, should also be taken into account:
Extension 0 rings immediately when a call is received. Extensions
1, 2 and 3 will ring in sequence after each other.
LINE TERMINAL SETTINGS
A line terminal jumper (5) is tted in the door phone. Activate the
terminal for devices wired at the end of a line from which another
section does not start from the device terminals (end of line).
PERFORMANCE
CALL RECEPTION
The user’s apartment station will ring with the programmed tone when
a call is received according to the source:
From main door unit
From secondary door unit
Intercom call
Floor calls
From switchboard
The electric lock can be operated from the calling door unit also
without picking up the handset when a call is received.
Indoor station 0 will ring immediately if there are several stations in
the apartment. Extensions 1, 2 and 3 will ring in sequence after each
other.
ANSWERING A CALL
Pick up the handset to establish a conversation with the door phone.
Hang up the handset to end the conversation and switch off the
display.
ADJUSTING THE RINGER SPEAKER (MUTE)
Hold button pressed for longer than 5 seconds; the yellow LED
will blink slowly to indicate that programming mode is selected.
In any case, after 10 minutes the system exits the programming
state and saves the modi ed parameters.
Press the button to change the ringer volume
Quit programming mode when the required level is set
(HIGH,LOW,MUTE).
The multicolour LED 2 will blink to indicate mute status.
SUPPLEMENTARY RINGER
The apartment stations are provided with a pair of terminals (S+, S-)
for connecting a supplementary ringer or relay. This ringer is controlled
when any call tone is generated.
FLOOR CALL
The indoor station is equipped with a pair of terminals (CP) for
connecting the oor call button. The indoor station will ring with the
set tone for 3s when the button is pressed. Connect this button only
to one indoor station if there are several indoor stations in parallel.
Extensions 1, 2 and 3 will ring in sequence after each other.
INTERCOM CALL FORWARDING
After programming the button for the intercom function, pickup the
handset and press the button.
The following cases can occur according to the calling indoor station
state:
Indoor station free: the calling indoor station will output a
con rmation tone (2 beeps) and the called indoor station will ring.
Communication is established when the called user picks up.
Line / System busy: the indoor station outputs a warning tone (4
beeps in rapid sequence). Hang up and try again later.

INT: apartment station code
Set a number from 0 to 3 according to the following rules:
The indoor station code must be 0 if there is only one station in
the apartment.
Up to 4 apartment stations can be connected in parallel using the
same user code and different indoor station codes.

The indoor station code is used to identify the single stations of the
same user. This means that intercom calls can be address to the single

DOOR OPEN LED
The function is only active for the last called door phone on which
the door opening button was pressed and corresponding to the last
calling door unit; see the “LED indications” for more details.
Open door function is available only if a suitable sensor has
been connected to the door unit.
OPTIONALPROGRAMMING
The following programming operations are needed after testing the
basic operation of the system, only if are required.
INTERCOM FUNCTION
Buttons ( , , ) can be programmed in 2Voice systems for intercom
call functions.
One button can be programmed to call another user in the column
or to call an indoor station in parallel. All indoor stations of the called
user will ring in the rst case. Only the speci cally programmed indoor
station will ring in the second case.
INTERCOM FUNCTION BETWEEN VARIOUS USERS
Go to the indoor station to be programmed as caller (indoor station
A).
Hold the
button pressed for longer than 5 seconds. The yellow
LED will blink slowly to con rm that programming mode is
selected. In all cases, the device will quit programming mode and
save any changes after 10 minutes.
Hold the button to be programmed pressed for at least three
seconds until the con rmation tone is heard.
Go to the user who will be called by pressing the button (user B)
and press the door opener button. The apartment stations will be
beep to indicate that they have been programmed.
Alternatively, go to a calling station and press the calling button
of user B. The indoor station being programming (A) will beep to
indicate that it has been programmed. The indoor stations of user
B will ring when this occurs. Ignore this call.
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds to quit
programming mode.
Check the programmed function: release the handset A and press
the programmed button. Check that all indoor stations of user B
ring and check reply audio.
You will need to program indoor station B to call A to make the
opposite call possible
INTERCOM FUNCTION IN THE SAME APARTMENT
Go to the apartment station to be programmed as caller (indoor
station C1).
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds. The yellow
LED will blink slowly to con rm that programming mode is
selected. In all cases, the device will quit programming mode and
save any changes after 10 minutes.
Hold the button to be programmed pressed for at least three
seconds until the con rmation tone is heard.
Go to the apartment station that the button will call (apartment
station C2) and press the door opener button. The apartment
stations C1 and C2 will be beep to indicate that they have been
programmed.
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds to quit
programming mode.
Check the programmed function: release the handset C1 and
press the programmed button. Check that the apartment station
C2 rings and check audio.
You will need to program apartment station C2 to call C1 to make
the opposite call possible.
CALL TONE PROGRAMMING
In 2VOICE system each user can select the door phone call ring tone
and the oor call ring tone among the 5 available ones.

The selected call ring tone is the same for all door phone calls.
However, the call ring tone source can be identi ed thanks to the call
ring tone timing:

To restore default parameters of the device after entering programming
mode, hold button pressed for longer than 5 seconds, press the

KIT FOR TABLE MOUNTING REF. 1150/50
The door phone can be table-mounted using a speci c transformation
kit Ref. 1150/50.
For installation, follow the procedure below:
1. Remove the door phone cover.
2. Fix the door phone base to the support
3. Insert the cable in the suitable hole and perform connections
The system cable must not be connected to the wiring
junction box provided with the table-top kit, but directly to
the door phone.
4. Block the cable to the support.
5. Close the door phone cover.
6. Mount the feet on the bottom side of the support.

The Ref.1183/7 door phone is based on Urmet mechanical
design and offers all the functions of a door phone system in addition
to simple home automatic control using Yokis models.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE
The main characteristics of door phone are the following:

INT: apartment station code
Set a number from 0 to 3 according to the following rules:
The indoor station code must be 0 if there is only one station in
the apartment.
Up to 4 apartment stations can be connected in parallel using the
same user code and different indoor station codes.

The indoor station code is used to identify the single stations of the
same user. This means that intercom calls can be address to the single
user in the same apartment. All the users indoor stations will ring at
the same time in the event of intercom calls to different apartments,
door unit calls and oor calls.
The following considerations, should also be taken into account:
Extension 0 rings immediately when a call is received. Extensions
1, 2 and 3 will ring in sequence after each other.
LINE TERMINAL SETTINGS
A line terminal jumper (13) is tted in the door phone. Activate the
terminal for devices wired at the end of a line from which another
section does not start from the device terminals (end of line).
PERFORMANCE
CALL RECEPTION
The user’s apartment station will ring with the programmed tone when
a call is received according to the source:
From main door unit
From secondary door unit
Intercom call
Floor calls
From switchboard
The electric lock can be operated from the calling door unit also
without picking up the handset when a call is received.
Indoor station 0 will ring immediately if there are several stations in
the apartment. Extensions 1, 2 and 3 will ring in sequence after each
other.
ANSWERING A CALL
Press the button to establish a conversation with the caller (the
button will start blinking as soon as it is pressed). Press the button
again to end the conversation and switch off the display.
ADJUSTING THE RINGER SPEAKER (MUTE)
Hold button pressed for longer than 5 seconds; the yellow LED
will blink slowly to indicate that programming mode is selected.
In any case, after 10 minutes the system exits the programming
state and saves the modi ed parameters.
Press the button to change the ringer volume.
Quit programming mode when the required level is set
(HIGH,LOW,MUTE).
The multicolour LED 6 will blink to indicate mute status.
With the MUTE function on, all beeps will be deactivated.
SUPPLEMENTARY RINGER
The door phone is equipped with a pair of terminals (S+, S-) for
connecting a supplementary ringer or a relay. This ringer is controlled
when any call tone is generated.
FLOOR CALL
The door phone is equipped with a pair of terminals (CP) for connecting
the oor call button. If a oor call is received, the door phone will
play the ring tone selected by the user. Connect this button to one
extension only if there are multiple apartment stations in parallel. The
apartment stations will ring in sequence.
INTERCOM CALL FORWARDING
After having programmed a button for the intercom function, press the
audio button and then press the programmed button.
The following cases can occur according to the calling indoor station
state:
Indoor station free: the calling indoor station will output a
con rmation tone (2 beeps) and the called indoor station will ring.
Communication is established when the called user picks up.
Line / System busy: the indoor station outputs a warning tone (4
beeps in rapid sequence). Hang up and try again later.
OPEN DOOR LED
The function is only active for the last called door phone on which
the door opening button was pressed and corresponding to the last
calling door unit; see the “LED indications” for more details.
Open door function is available only if a suitable sensor has
been connected to the door unit.
OPTIONAL PROGRAMMING
The following programming operations are needed after testing the
basic operation of the system, only if are required.
INTERCOM FUNCTION
Buttons , , can be programmed in 2Voice systems for intercom
call functions.
One button can be programmed to call another user in the column
or to call an indoor station in parallel. All indoor stations of the called
user will ring in the rst case. Only the speci cally programmed indoor
station will ring in the second case.
INTERCOM FUNCTION BETWEEN VARIOUS USERS
Go to the indoor station to be programmed as caller (indoor station
A).
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds. The yellow
LED will blink slowly to con rm that programming mode is
selected. In all cases, the device will quit programming mode and
save any changes after 10 minutes.
Hold the button to be programmed pressed for at least three
seconds until the con rmation tone is heard.
Go to the user who will be called by pressing the button (user B)
and press the door opener button. The apartment stations will be
beep to indicate that they have been programmed.
Alternatively, go to a calling station and press the calling button
of user B. The indoor station being programming (A) will beep to
indicate that it has been programmed. The indoor stations of user
B will ring when this occurs. Ignore this call.
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds to quit
programming mode.
Check the programmed function: release the handset A and press
the programmed button. Check that all indoor stations of user B
ring and check reply audio.
You will need to program indoor station B to call A to make the
opposite call possible.

INTERCOM FUNCTION IN THE SAME APARTMENT
Go to the apartment station to be programmed as caller (indoor
station C1).
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds. The yellow
LED will blink slowly to con rm that programming mode is
selected. In all cases, the device will quit programming mode and
save any changes after 10 minutes.
Hold the button to be programmed pressed for at least three
seconds until the con rmation tone is heard.
Go to the apartment station that the button will call (apartment
station C2) and press the door opener button. The apartment
stations C1 and C2 will be beep to indicate that they have been
programmed.
Hold the button pressed for longer than 5 seconds to quit
programming mode.
Check the programmed function: release the handset C1 and
press the programmed button. Check that the apartment station
C2 rings and check audio.
You will need to program apartment station C2 to call C1 to make
the opposite call possible.
ACTIVATING AUDIO BY PRESSING THE (PUSH TO TALK MODE)
BUTTON
If the communication between the calling station and the door phone
is disturbed, it is possible to activate the two audio channels (inwards
and outwards) individually.
After having received a call, short press to activate the audio from
the door unit, then if the
button is held pressed down, the audio
channel is activated externally and the user can speak to the caller.
To listen, it is necessary to press the button.
To end the conversation, shortly press button.
CALL TONE PROGRAMMING
In 2VOICE system each user can select the door phone call ring tone
and the oor call ring tone among the 5 available ones.
DOOR PHONE CALL RING TONE
The selected call ring tone is the same for all door phone calls.
However, the call ring tone source can be identi ed thanks to the call
ring tone timing:

To restore default parameters of the device after entering programming
