Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
Remove the pieces shown above from the sprue.
Glue the two long sections and centre piece
together to form an “H” then glue it to the base.
Attach the rear wall (See pic)
Then glue the two short step pieces to the model.
Glue the front wall and long step pieces to the model.
Take the lower frames..
And slide / glue the front one into place.
Then add the rear one.
Add the side strips. Note the longer gap in the side
frames should be at the front of the model.
Glue the floor into place.
Take the four inner wall sections from the sprue.
Attach them to the base as shown above. Note the
small notches in the side walls should be towards
the front of the building.
Tahe the frames for the sides are rear of the building.
Attach the side frames so the uprights align with
those on the base.
Then add the rear frame.
The front frame and tower sides.
Attach the sides of the tower to the front frame as
shown above.
Then attach it to the front of the building.
Take the porch roof pieces.
And form the porch roof as shown.
Glue this into place on the front framework.
The rear door and frame.
Glue one door support into position as shown (with
the hole on the left)
Insert the lower lug into the hole then gently
position the upprt support.
Apply a little glue to the support and push it into place
so it is flush with the wall.
Then add the door frame on each side of the
doorway.
Repeat this procedure with the double doors on the
front of the building.
The porch rails.
Glue one each side of the porch, with the front beam
inserted into the notch in the front steps.
The front, rear and top of the tower.
Carefully flex the sides of the tower so you can insert
the tower top. The handle should be at the front or
rear of the tower.
The glue the front and rear into place.
The inserts for the front of the building.
Pop these into place within the framework.
The side inserts.
Pop them into the framework.
The base inserts….
…to go into the sides, front….
..and rear.
The rear wall inserts.
Pop these into place.
Each window is formed from the pieces shown
above.
Glue the frame into the gap, along with the window
and sill.
The rear steps These are shorter thanthe front
steps.
Starting from the top, glue them into place.
The front steps. There are only 4 in the kit, rather
than 5. Note the larger side gaps on the lowest step.
Add the steps to the front, starting from the top. Insert
the step through the handrail, then lower it into
position.
The frame for the roof is made from the pieces
shown above.
Glue the small bars into place.
Add the end pieces and top beam.
Glue the roof pieces into place.
The end frame (for the rear), front frame and central
support.
Glue the frame to the back end of the roof and the
solid blank to the front.
To check which end is which, place the roof on top of
the building as it only fits correctly one way round.
Pop the inserts into position.
Carefully insert the central support, flexing the roof
place as needed.
The frames for the sides of the tower.
Glue these into position.
The front and rear frames.
Glue the front frame into place.
Then add the rear this will slot into the notches in
the side walls.
The inserts for the tower.
Pop them into position.
If desired, add the cross.
The front roof sections.
Glue these into position.
The framework for the top of the tower is formed
from the pieces shown above.
Glue them together as shown.
The sides of the top section are formed from these
pieces.
Start by glueing the thicker “U” shape into place to the
inner edges align with the uprights.
Then add the outer piece which aligns with the
outer edges of the piece you just added.
The front and rear of the top section.
Glue the small bars into place.
Then add the outer pieces.
The roof supports.
Glue these into place as shown.
Then add the tile sections.
The frame and inserts for the roof.
Add the frames.
Then pop the inserts into position.
