BLOTZ B20-SF-001, B20_SF_001 Assembly Instructions

  • Hello! I've reviewed the instructions for assembling the BLOTZ Cargo Container model B20-SF-001. This document provides a step-by-step guide on how to construct the model, including how to attach the top, bottom, sides, doors, and frame elements. I understand that PVA glue, sandpaper, and a sharp modeling knife are needed. Feel free to ask me anything about the assembly process or any other details from the instructions.
  • What type of glue is required?
What can be used to clean joints?
What tool is needed to remove sections from the sprue?
20mm Cargo Container #1
B20-SF-001
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
Take the top and bottom of the container along with
the two door stops.
Glue a doorstop to the underside of each piece (i.e.
not on the etched side of the top section)
Now take one side of the container.
And glue them together as shown.
Take each door and its bars, and glue them togather
as shown on the right.
Add the doors to the container.
Add the other side panel and the end piece.
Followed by the front piece.
Remove the frames from the sprue.
Glue them into place on the sides and end – the end
section is slightly narrower to give a stepped effect on
the corners.
Add the front frame.
Finally add the two top pieces.
