6Planking the decks and the bridgedeck bulwarks

6Place one of the sapele hull plates 32 at different heights,

both on the bow and on the stern, to ensure that it fits

with the contours of the hull. Plate the front part of the stern

bulkhead 16 with the basswood battens 28. Line the deck 27

with the basswood battens 28, starting from the amidship line

(broken red lines) to the ends. Nail and glue the bridgedeck

bulwarks 29, ensuring that they are at the same level of the

stern deck plate.
