STEP 88-1
Get the chassis you assembled in the
previous stages. Place the rear right
air intake duct (88A) and rear left air
intake duct (88C) on the rear section
of the chassis, so as to identify which
side each duct goes. To facilitate this,
look at the position of the parts in the
photo, with the hole in the inner corner
facing upwards and towards the centre
of the chassis.
STEP 88-3
Insert the rear left air intake duct (88C)
into the slot in the main chassis (38A).
Insert the linchpin on the panel into
the hole in the inner corner of the air
intake duct, as you did in the previous
step.
STEP 88-2
Turn the chassis over and insert the
rear right air intake duct (88A) into its
slot in the main chassis (38A). Insert the
linchpin on the panel into the hole in
the inner corner of the air intake duct,
ensuring that it faces the same way as
in the photo.

engine and place it in front of the
engine compartment. Put the engine
into its compartment and hook the
two rear panhard rods (87D) over the
attachment points indicated in the
previous step, as shown in the photo.
STEP 88-5
Find the two attachment points in the
engine compartment, indicated in the
photo by blue circles; this where the rear
panhard rod (87D) will go. Place the top
hose of the rear cooling system hoses
(86A) to the right.

engine mounts are aligned perfectly with
the rear chassis frame (39A).
STEP 88-9
Now tighten the FP01 screw
behind the right side of the
rear transmission subframe
(71A).
STEP 88-8
After checking that the engine in in the
correct position, insert one FP01 screw

will need them in the
upcoming stages. Check
that you have all the parts
indicated in this list.
