Step 96-1
Get the central section of the car body
(95A) that you received with the previous
stage.
Step 96-3
Attach the windshield (96A) to
the car body (95A) by inserting
the lower central tab rst,
followed by the two tabs on the
bottom of the frame.
Step 96-2
Position the windshield
(96A) over its housing
on the central section
of the car body (95A).
Remember that the
tabs on the sides of the
windshield must line up
with the corresponding
slots in the body, as
shown in the photo.

STEP BY STEP
RESULT
This is what the windshield
should look like after it has
been attached to the central
section of the car body.
Step 96-4
Finally, insert the two
tabs on the sides of the
frame and the three tabs
on the top. Carefully
press the windshield
(96A) until it is completely
inserted into the body
(95A).

STEP BY STEP
Step 97-1
Get the central section of the
car body (95A) you worked on
in the previous stage. Insert the
windscreen wiper (97C) into its
housing on the front of the body.
The end of the windscreen wiper
and the housing are D-shaped to
make mounting it easier.
Step 97-3
Attach the fuel tank cap
(97G) to its mount (97H).
Insert the two side linchpins
on the rectangular side of the
cap into the corresponding
slots in the mount.
Step 97-2
Turn the car body (95A) over and
secure the windshield wiper (97C)
with one FP02 screw.

Step 97-4
Carefully insert the linchpin on the fuel
tank cap mount (97H) into the hole in
the righthand side of the car body (95A),
just in front of the windshield (96A).
Step 97-6
Turn the car body (95A) back
over and insert the central
linchpin on the front cap into
the hole in the lefthand side of
the body, opposite the fuel tank
cap and its mount (97G / 97H).
Step 97-5
Turn the car body (95A)
upside down and secure the
fuel tank cap mount (97H)
with one FP01 screw.

Step 97-7
Secure the front cap (97F)
to the car body (95A) with
one FP01 screw, again from
underneath.
RESULT
This is what the central section of the car body should look
like after attaching the front windscreen wiper, the front
cap and the fuel tank cap.

STEP BY STEP
Step 98-1
Get the central section of the car
body you worked in the previous
stage, as well as the unused parts
and screws, with the exception of
the rear-view mirror.
Position the linchpins on the back
of the bonnet reinforcement
plate 1 (97D, identied with
an L), over the two holes in the
lefthand side of the central
section of the car body 95A).
Step 98-3
Repeat the previous steps for the
bonnet reinforcement plate 2 (97E,
identied with an R). Insert the
linchpins on the back of the plate into
the two corresponding holes in the
righthand side of the car body (95A).
Step 98-2
Insert the linchpins on
the plate (97D) into the
corresponding holes in the
car body (95A). Turn the car
body over and secure the
plate with one FP01 screw.

Step 98-4
Check that the end of the
windscreen wiper is inside the
semi-circular notch in the plate,
as shown in the photo. Turn the
car body over and secure the
plate with one FP01 screw.

Check that the left door (12A)
closes properly and that it sits
ush against the frame.
Step 98-5
Get the left door (12A) and
insert the hinge in to its housing
on the side of the car body
(95A). Close the door, turn the
car body over and secure the
door with two FD01 screws,
rst placing the two seals (97B)
between the door and the
screws, as shown in the photo.

Step 98-7
Now get the right door (3A)
and repeat the previous
steps you did to attach the
left door. Secure the door
to the car body with two
FD01 screws, not forgetting
to insert the two seals (97B)
between the door and the
screws.

STEP BY STEP
Step 99-1
Get the central section of the
car body (95A) and the rear-
view mirror (97A). Turn the car
body over and insert the mirror
into the housing above the
windshield. Press down gently
to secure it.
Step 99-2
Get the chassis you just assembled
and carefully place the central section
of the car body (95A) on the section
corresponding to the passenger
compartment, as shown in the photo. This
will be easier if you open the two doors.
The body has four linchpins (two on each
side) which must be inserted into the
corresponding holes in the chassis. It is
also important that the attached car body
doesn’t completely cover the sides of the
model.

Get the FD01 screws supplied
with the previous stage. Turn
the chassis/car body upside
down and secure all the parts
with four FD01 screws.

platform

In this stage, you will continue assembling the body of your Ford

Once the top of the left platform
(98A) is in place, position the
lower part on the main chassis
(38A), ensuring that the four
holes in each piece are aligned.

Get the front end of the car
with the bonnet (1A) and
insert the linchpins on the
deector (98B) into the holes
in the top righthand side, as
shown in the photo.
Step 100-2
Get the piece with the chassis
and the central section of the
car body (with the two doors),
as well as the left platform
(98A) and the unused FD01
screws. Attach the platform
to the left side of the model,
by inserting the top edge
under the body and the door,
as shown in the photo. Align
the four holes in the platform
with the linchpins on the main
chassis (38A) and press until
the piece clicks into place.
