Position the left cylinder
head (76A) over the
upper left engine block.
The cylinder head has two
different-sized linchpins
which must be aligned
with the corresponding
holes in the block.

Turn the structure over and
secure the pieces with two FP01
screws.

Attach the left cylinder
head (76A) to the upper
left engine block (76B)
and check that the two
parts are joined correctly.

pack. Insert the linchpin
end of the hydraulic brake
hose (77B) into the hole
in the subframe (71A) you
received with the previous
pack, which is located
just below the left engine
mount (75A). Don’t press
too hard when inserting
the hose.

Turn the piece over and
secure the upper left engine
block (76B) to the left side of
the engine block (77A) using
two FP02 screws.

Get the piece you assembled
in the previous pack. Attach
the upper left engine block
(76B) to the left side of the
engine block (77A). To do
this, insert the square linchpin
in the centre of the upper
left engine block into the
corresponding hole in the left
side of the engine block, as
demonstrated.

Position the oil ller tube
(78C) over the right cylinder
head (78A). Insert the tube
into the corresponding hole,
then turn the cylinder head
over and secure the tube
with a FP01 screw.

Turn the structure over and
secure the pieces with two FP01
screws.

Position the right cylinder head
(78A) over the upper right
engine block. The cylinder
head has two different-sized
linchpins which must be aligned
with the corresponding holes in
the block. Attach the cylinder
head to the upper right engine
block by pressing down rmly
and then check that the two
parts are joined correctly.

Position the alternator (79D)
over the pulley mechanism (79C).
Insert the two linchpins on the
alternator into the holes in the
pulley mechanism, as shown. After
attaching the alternator, secure it
with one FP01 screw.

Position the front cover of the engine
block (79B) over the manifolds (79E)
and pulley mechanism (79C). Insert
the linchpin on the mechanism into
the hole in the front cover and the
protrusion on the cover into the hole in
the manifolds, as shown. Secure all the
pieces with two FP01 screws.

Position the manifolds (79E) over
the pulley mechanism (79C), next
to the alternator (79D). Insert the
linchpin on the pulley mechanism
into the hole in the centre of the
manifolds, as shown. Note: the
manifolds must be either side of
the part of the pulley mechanism
that is opposite the alternator.

Get the left side of the engine block (77A). Put the piece you just assembled in the correct position.
Insert the linchpin into the hole in the right side of the engine block, as shown in the photo.

and secure the parts with one
FP01 screw from the inside of the
engine block.

hydraulic brake hose
(80B) onto the linchpin
on the outside of the
brake caliper (66D) you
assembled together with
the rear right wheel.
Make sure the hose fully
covers the linchpin.

Insert the left side of the engine
block (77A) under the tab on
the back of the left side of the
transmission case (60A). Get the
oil sump (79A) with the two
FP07 screws inserted. Loosen the
screws slightly, position the oil
sump under the left engine block
(with the square recess facing
the engine) and carefully insert
the screws into the semi-circular
holes in the engine block.
Tighten the two FP07 screws
without forcing them.

Get the left side of the engine
block (77A) and the completed
carburettor you assembled in
the previous packs. Position the
engine block over the intake
manifold (5B ) as shown, join the
two parts and then secure the
pieces with two FD08 screws.

STEP 80-7
Slide the right side of the engine block (80A) onto the
tab on the back of the right side of the transmission case
(61A) and onto the two FP07 screws in the oil sump (79A).
Insert the two linchpins on the right engine block into
the holes in the left side of the engine block (77A). Check
that everything is assemble correctly and then secure the
pieces with two FD08 screws.
