Position the left front

suspension arm lower

wishbone (45B) and the

left front suspension

arm bracket (45C) as

shown here. Both parts

are marked with the

letter L.

Take the left front suspension

arm upper wishbone (45A) and

hold it over the bracket in the

position shown. The wishbone

is also marked with the letter L.

Engage the wishbone (45B) with

the bracket (45C), as shown.

Prepare the right

front wheel assembly

from Stage 3.

STEP 47-3

Place one of the lower

suspension joints (47E) opposite

the upper joint. Secure the

assembly from the inside of the

lower arm with an FD05 screw.

Insert one of the upper

suspension joints (47D) into

the wheel hub, as shown.

Prepare the front subframe assembly from the

previous stage. Press-t one of the shock absorber

bodies (47A) onto the right upper wishbone.

Place one of the shock

absorber springs (47C) over the

shock absorber piston (47B).

Take the shock absorber body

and place it onto the end of

the piston, inside the spring.

Secure the upper

wishbone and upper

suspension joint together

with an FD06 screw.

Press-t one of the shock absorber

pistons (47B) onto the thinner

section of the lower wishbone.

The two suspension joints of the right front wheel hub

t onto the protruding parts of the upper and lower

wishbones. Make sure you get the orientation of the

wheel and the subframe right before proceeding.

Find a container large

enough to hold the

right front tyre (48A).

Fill the container

with hot water.

Prepare the subframe

assembly from the

previous stage.

Immerse the tyre in the

hot water for a few minutes

until it softens.
