Lock Operation
for Andersen® 100 Series Patio Door
Please see updated instructions on how to properly operate your 100 Series patio door locking hardware. To properly and safely lock, unlock,
open, and close your patio door, confirm that the lock lever is in the correct position for operation as shown below.
Unlocked (Open) Position
Locked (Closed) Position
Lock Lever
(completely down)
in full unlocked
position.
Lock Lever
(completely up)
in full locked
position.
If the lock lever is between the locked and unlocked position, the lock lever
may move to the locked position, causing the door to unexpectedly lock. If the
door unexpectedly locks, you could be locked out of your home or building.
