Thisvehiclewasdesignedforpersonswhoseabilitytowalkis
impaired,butwhoarestillintermsoftheireyesightandphysically
andmentallyabletooperateanelectricvehicle.
1.5Regulations
ThevehiclewassuccessfullytestedaccordingtoGermanand
internationalstandardsastoitssafety.Itsatisfiestherequirements
accordingtoRoHS2011/65/EU,REACH1907/2006/ECandDIN
EN12184includingEN1021-1/-2.Itwasalsotestedsuccessfully
accordingtoEN60529IPX4astoitsresistancetospraywater,
andisthereforewellsuitedforweatherconditionssuchastypical
Europeanweatherconditions.
1.6Indications
Theuseofthispowerwheelchairisrecommendedforthefollowing
indications:
Theinabilityoragreatlyrestrictedabilitytowalkwithinthe
scopeofthebasicrequirementtobeabletomovewithinone’s
ownfourwalls.
Provisionofpowerwheelchairsforinteriorareasisadvisableifthe
useofmanualwheelchairsisnolongerpossibleonaccountofthe
disability,yetproperoperationofanelectromotivedriveunitisstill
practicable.
Contraindications
Therearenocontraindicationsknown.
1.7Usability
Onlyuseamobilitydevicewhenitisinperfectworkingorder.
Otherwise,youmightputyourselfandothersatrisk.

Theestimatedservicelifecanbeexceedediftheproductiscarefully
usedandproperlymaintained,andprovidedtechnicalandscientific
advancesdonotresultintechnicallimitations.Theservicelifecan
alsobeconsiderablyreducedbyextremeorincorrectusage.Thefact

1.10Anotetomobilitydeviceassistants
Whenassistancetothemobilitydeviceuserisrequired,remember
tousegoodbodymechanics.Keepyourbackstraightandbendyour
kneeswhenevertiltingthemobilitydeviceortraversingcurbsor
otherimpediments.
Also,beawareofdetachablepartssuchasarmrestsorlegrests.
ThesemustNEVERbeusedtomovethemobilitydeviceoraslifting
supports,astheymaybeinadvertentlyreleased,resultinginpossible
injurytotheuserand/orassistant(s).

interference

suchasthosegeneratedbyradioandtelevisiontransmitters,and
cellularphonescaninfluencethefunctionsofelectricvehicles.Also,
theelectronicsusedinourvehiclescangeneratealowlevelof
electromagneticinterference,whichhoweverwillremainwithinthe
