Maxxima extends a 3 year limited warranty to the original purchase that the products listed are free from defects in material and/or
workmanship only. Maxxima will replace any warrantied product to the original consumer/purchaser if the product fails because of defects
due to workmanship and/or materials within the limited warranty period. Limited warranty is not transferable and applies to the original
installation of the Maxxima product. This offer does not constitute in any way a product guarantee and Maxxima does not hereby assume
any obligation whatsoever beyond sending a free replacement product.
• Risk of electric shock - Disconnect power at the source
before installation.
• If you are unsure about the installation or the maintenance
of the wall light, please consult an electrician.
• Do not make or alter any holes in the wiring enclosure or
modify any electrical componentry.
CAUTIONS
• To insure personal safety, proper grounding of the
electrical fixture is required.
• The fixture must be wired in accordance with the National
Electric Code and applicable local codes or ordinances.
• Consult a qualified electrician to ensure correct branch
circuit conductor.
WARNINGS
1.
Ensure the power has been turned off by switching the circuit breaker
to the off position or by removing the fuse from the fuse panel.
2. If you are replacing an exisitng fixture, remove and disconnect
the old fixture first.
3. Mount the fixture mounting plate using the provided screws shown
as #2.
4. Connect the supply ground wire (green or bare copper) to the
fixture mounting plates using the provided green grounding screw
leaving some excess wire, then connect this excess to the
fixture ground wire (stranded bare copper) using the provided wire nut.
5. Connect the fixture neutral wire (white wire) to the supply
neutral wire (white wire) using the provided wire nut.
6. Connect the fixture hot wire (black wire) to the supply hot wire
(black wire) using the provided wire nut.
7. Mount the fixture assembly to the mounting bracket using the
provided screws #11 while ensuring no wires are being pinched or
misplaced.
8. Tighten the provided screws #11 until the fixture is secure.
9. Installation is now complete, restore power and
ensure the fixture is operational.
Note: this fixture is not approved to be used with dimmers.
