ASSEMBLY:

Inspect the shipping container contents for damage and to determine that all components and hardware are present.1.

2. Lay all parts on a so work surface or on the shipping packaging to prevent damage to nish.

3. Locate the three tabletop planks and the two table under supports. The

tabletop planks can be distinguished from the seat planks because the

predrilled holes on either end of the tabletop planks are about 1 1/2”

closer to the end of the plank.

NOTE: Before assembling the nuts to the bolts, it is recommended that a light oil or petroleum jelly be applied to the screw threads.

The assembly is a two-person operation.

4. Insert a 3/8"-16 X 2 1/2” carriage bolt through each of the holes in the tabletop

planks.

NOTE: It may be helpful to tape the bolt heads in place so the planks can be

adjusted without dislodging the bolts.

Place one of the table under supports over the line of carriage bolts. Make sure the

vertical ange on the mounting bar of the under support faces outward toward the

nearest end of the table. Place one 3/8" at washer and one 3/8"-16 hex nut on

the end of each carriage bolt and tighten nger tight.

Repeat this step to install the remaining under support on the other side.

Once all the hardware is installed be sure to check the alignment of the vertical

ange on the mounting bar before tightening the hex nuts with the ratchet and

9/16" socket.

5. Insert the 3/8"-16 X 1 1/2” carriage bolt through the hole in the center of the center

brace mount and hold or tape it in place and position the center brace mount over the

line of holes across the center of the tabletop. Insert 3/8"-16 X 2 1/2" carriage bolts

through the seat planks and center brace mount's mounting holes.

Place a 3/8" at washer and 3/8"-16 hex nut on each of the carriage bolts, except the

center one, and tighten them using the ratchet with the 9/16” socket.

6. Place the mounting hole of one of the angle braces over the carriage bolt in the

middle of the center brace mount. Align the hole on the other end of the brace

with the hole in the mounting plate on the under support. Insert one of the 3/8"-

16 X 1" carriage bolts through the mounting plate and angle brace and then place

a 3/8" at washer and 3/8"-16 hex nut on the end of the carriage bolt. Leave the

hardware nger tight so the tabletop can be adjusted and leveled later.

7. Repeat Step 6 to install the remaining angle brace, except place a 3/8" at washer

and 3/8"-16 hex nut on the 3/8"-16 X 1 1/2" carriage bolt in the center of the

center brace mount.

Leave the hardware nger tight so the tabletop can be adjusted and leveled later.

8. Insert six 3/8"-16 X 2 1/2" carriage bolts into one of the seat planks.

Place one of the seat stiener supports over the two carriage bolts in

the center of one of the seat planks. Place a 3/8" at washer and 3/8"-

16 hex nut on one of the carriage bolts and tighten with the wrench and

9/16" socket. Repeat this step for the other seat plank.

9. Raise one of the seat planks up to the seat mounting bracket on one of the under supports. Orient the seat plank so that the 3/8"-16 hex

nut and 3/8" at washer on the seat stiener support is toward the outside edge. Place a 3/8" at washer and 3/8"-16 hex nut on the end

of the two carriage bolts through the seat brackets on the outside edge of the seat plank. Leave the hardware nger tight until the seat

stiener is attached.

Place the seat stiener over the three carriage bolts on the inside edge of the seat plank and place a 3/8" at washer and 3/8"-16 hex nut

on each of the carriage bolts. Tighten all of the seat hardware with the ratchet and 9/16" socket.

Repeat this step to install the remaining seat plank to the other side of the table under supports.

10. Position the bench upright and move to the location where it will be used.

Aer two weeks, retighten all of the hardware.
