Racing Gates #2 (Start / Finish)
B00-RT-410
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and
remember to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place
while you allow glue to dry.
Each game is formed from the pieces shown
above.
Glue the two connectors to the gantry.
Add a foot at each end.
The signs slot into place one on each side of the
gantry.
The gates once painted.
After construction we sprayed our racing gates white with a car undercoat aerosol spray. The background of
the signs were then pained dark blue (model paint) and highlighted with a pale blue (model paint).
Corrosion and rust were added (model paints) before the models were streaked (vertically) with an ink wash.
The feet were then textured and a bit of static grass added.
