28mm Wild West Wind Pump

Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.

PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.

Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.

A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember

to cut away from yourself at all times.

During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while

you allow glue to dry.

To start, remove two of the uprights and the base

from the sprue.

Glue these to the base and at the same time, clip the

sides together using the lugs provided.

Attach the other two sides the same way,

ensuring the lugs fit into the holes in the piece on

the right each time.

Insert the shaft so it sits in the central hole in the base,

then glue the platform into position (with the shaft

sticking through it) as shown above. The lugs on the

sides should fit snugly into the holes on the platform.

The tail is made by glueing the one of the square

pieces either side of the slot (see next pic).

Glue the tail onto the top of the shaft as shown above.

Finally glue the sails onto the end of the tail

piece. For added strength, also pop a bit of glue

where the sails touch the platform.
