Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember
to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while
you allow glue to dry.
B28-OW-450 The Frontage
Remove the two base pieces and the frame from the
sprue.
Glue the frame to the plank section, then glue the
other base section under it using the lugs to align
them.
Glue the rear plate into place.
While the assembly dries, place it against a rear
section to ensure it doesn’t tilt forwards.
Take the insert pieces from the sprue.
Glue these into the gaps in the framework.
Take the door and supports from the sprue.
Glue the lower support into place. Allow to dry.
Place the lower lug of the door into the lower support,
then sit the upper support onto the top lug before
gently easing it into place (see pic).
Apply some glue to the upper support and then slide
it completely into position.
The windows and surrounds.
Glue the surrounds into place in the upper windows,
then glue the windows into place they should be
at the top of the window gaps, leaving a space
underneath.
The window sills.
Glue the sills underneath each window.
Glue your desired sign in place.
Choices: Notary, Saloon or Assay Office
The ends of the upper surround.
Glue these into position one at each side.
Take the three arches.
Glue the arches back-to-back then attach them to the
model as shown above.
The pieces of the front porch.
Glue the frame together (see pic)
Add the roof
You can either glue the porch to the model or leave it
free-standing.
Each sign-board is made from the front piece and
two side supports.
Glue the side supports to the front bar as shown.
The selected sign board can be glued to the porch,
or you can leave them loose to swap around
between games.
The completed frontage.
B28-OW-580 Wide Rear #1
Start by removing these pieces from the sprue.
Push one of the side walls into the base (etched detail
inward) …
..the lugs will protrude through the other side.
Using the lugs to guide you, attach the thick under
base to the model ensuring the “jigsaw” holes are at
the end of the building without any holes in.
Add the other two walls etched detail facing
inward.
Take the two central wall sections.
Glue them back-to-back then insert them into the
model as shown above.
Take the two short walls.
Glue them back-to-back then add them to the
model.
Attach the front wall of the cells.
Then add the dividing cell bars.
The doors and their supports.
Note the cell support is shorter then the one for the
standard door.
Slide the lower lug of the door into the hole in
the floor. Slip the support over the upper lug,
then gently push it into the gap in the door
frame.
Do the same for the jail cell doors.
The outer frames.
Glue them to the outside of the building as shown.
The insert pieces.
Glue them into the gaps within the frames. The ones
with brick surround the jail cells.
The windows and sill.
Glue the jail cell windows into their gaps.
Glue the rear room sill into place, then add the
window.
The finished model.

Start by removing these pieces from the sprue.
Attach the walls to the base the lugs will extend
through the base.
Take the two central wall sections.
Glue them back-to-back then insert them into the
model as shown above.
Take the two short walls.
Glue them back-to-back then add them to the model.
The outer door and its supports.
Slide the lower door support into the gap by the floor,
then insert the lug of the door into it. Slip the support
over the upper lug, then gently push it into the upper
gap in the door frame.
Repeat this for the inner doors (they only have
separate upper supports)
The outer frames.
Glue them to the outside of the building as
shown.
The insert pieces.
Glue them into the gaps within the frames.
The window and sill.
Glue the rear room sill into place, then add the
window.
The finished model.
B28-OW-640 Wide Roof #1
Remove the pieces shown above from the sprue.
Glue the pieces together as shown above.
Turn the frame over and glue the roof into place.
The end and side “frames”
Glue the frames to the outside of the model as shown
above.
The insert pieces.
Glue these into the frames.
The roof strips.
Glue the strips into place.
The completed roof.
B28-SR-002 Steps #2
Remove the right-hand support and the steps
from the sprue.
Glue the steps into the non-etched side of the
supports.
Then take the left-hand support and platform.
Glue them together as shown above.
Starting with the lugs on the platform, carefully
align these with the holes in the left-hand support,
then working down one step at a time, align these
with the holes in the right hand support.
Glue the base to the supports.
Note: This only fits one way round.
Glue the end support into position.
Take the hand-rails from the sprue.
And glue these to the supports. The slightly
rounded end of the long rails should be at the
bottom of the steps.
