1. Remove old sway bar bushings, brackets, and end links.
2. Clean and remove any rust or scale from the sway bar.
3. Grease the I.D. of the bushings and the contact area of the
sway bar prior to installation.
4. Install bushings onto sway bar, then install O.E. outer
bracket.
5. Install supplied greaseable bracket
(NOTE: center supplied bracket over nipple on bushing).
6. Tighten all fasteners.
7. Rotate the stabilizer bar back and forth to disperse the
grease throughout the bushing.
8. Install end links.
NOTE: After installation is complete use grease gun to insure
all cavities are filled with multi-purpose chassis lube grease.

Ford Greaseable Sway Bar Bushings
It is recommended that if you are unfamiliar with this type of work that you refer to a qualified service center
specializing in this type of work. It is also recommended that if you choose to do this work yourself that a factory
service manual be obtained for the proper procedures pertaining to removal, replacement and proper torque
specifications for your vehicle. This instruction set is intended as a guideline for the safe installation of Energy
Suspension’s polyurethane bushings, once you have removed the factory components from your vehicle.
