Soft-keys are buttons which don’t have a fixed purpose. Depending on what you are doing on the phone, the
soft-keys will do different things.
For example, when your phone is in ready status, the left hand soft-key displays New Call, the Middle key
displays Forward and the third key displays DND.
When dialling a number, the soft keys change. The left hand soft-key displays backspace, the second soft-key
displays Dial, the third soft-key becomes URL (not supported) and the fourth key Cancel
During a call the soft keys change again. The left hand key displays Hold, the second key displays End Call, the
third soft key displays Transfer and the fourth key displays More
Your phone has three main views: Home, Calls and Lines view. You can access Home and Lines view at any
time. Calls view can be accessed when you have one or more active calls.
For Home view from any menu, press
Press to alternate between Home and Lines view
Home view displays icons you can select to access phone functions:
Page Indicator
You can use the navigation keys to scroll through each page of icons, the page indicator shown above shows
you which page you are on and when you’re on the first or last page
Lines view displays phone lines, favourites and soft keys
If your phone is idle you can press the Line key to access the dialler
If your phone has one or more calls, you can access Call view
Call colour indicates status:
Dark green - Active call
Bright blue Incoming call
Dark blue- Held Call
Use the up and down keys to select a call. The soft keys will then control the highlighted call
Use the dialpad keys to enter information. To backspace press the Backspace soft key
To type with the dialpad keys, press a key repeatedly to view the character options and stop to select
Only one call can be active at one time
You can use the handset, speakerphone or headset for calls. During a call you can change modes by picking up
the hand or by pressing or
If you navigate away from your call(s), press to see Active Calls or Calls view again
Enter the number first then press Dial. Pick up the handset, or press or .
From lines view: Press the phone line key, enter the phone number and press send
From home view: Select new call icon using the left and right navigation keys. Enter the phone number and
press send
To answer with the handset pickup the handset
To answer with the speakerphone press or tap Answer
To answer with a headset press
To answer a new call whilst on an active call, press Answer. The current call will be held (only active with call
waiting feature enabled)
To end an active call, replace the handset or press , or press , or press End Call soft key
From calls view, press Hold or , if you have more than one call remember to highlight the call you wish to
place on hold
To resume a held call, press the resume soft key or again
During your call, press the Mute button. To un-mute, press the Mute button again.
During Mute you can hear the other party / parties, but they cannot hear you.
This applies to calls using the handset, headset and speakerphone
Call Transfer Announced
From Calls view, press Transfer or , and call the other party. When you hear the ring back tone or after you
talk with the other party press Transfer or again.
From Calls view press Transfer or and call the other party. Press the Blind soft key to complete the transfer
without waiting for the ring back tone, this will transfer the call unannounced.
Call the first party, and after the call connects press More,and select Confrnc. The dial and connect with the
scond party and press Confrnc again
From Lines or Calls view you can;
Press Hold to hold all participants
Press End Call to remove yourself from the call, but keep the other participants connected
Press Manage (if available to manage each participant)
Press Split to end the conference and hold all participants
Note: If you have an active and held call you can press the Join softkey to setup a conference
If you have been left a voicemail you will see a voicemail notification envelope symbol and a new message
notification scrolling at the top of the screen. Follow the procedure below to retrieve voicemail messages.
An alternative option for voicemail notification is to use the PC Assistant Toolbar under “Voice Messaging”.
Here you have the option to request a notification or carbon copy of the voicemail emailed to a specified e-
mail address.
From your desk phone:
Dial *62 or press the Messages button followed by the connect key, then enter your passcode followed by the
# key
From a phone other than your own :
Dial *62 or press the Messages button followed by the Connect key, press * during the voicemail greeting then
enter your passcode followed by the # key

To enable call forwarding press Forward from lines view. Select the forwarding type to enable, enter the
destination number for call forwarding and press the Enable soft key.
To disable call forwarding press Forward from lines view and select the forwarding type to disable, and press
Disable
To enable per-call forwarding: As your phone rings press Forward, enter the forwarding number and press
Forward soft-key
From Lines view you can access your recent calls (placed, received and missed)by one of the following:
Press , select Directories and select Recent Calls to view your Recent Calls list
Press the right arrow navigation key to view recently placed calls
Press the left arrow navigation key to view recently received calls
Press the down arrow key to view the recent missed calls
Press the up arrow key to view Favourites
From the recent calls list, press the Sort soft key to sort and order calls, press the Type soft key to display only
certain calls, or select a call from the list to call that person
Alternatively use the PC Assistant Toolbar, Call History feature (where available) to view and call back missed,
placed and received calls.
To select a contact from the Contact Directory, press (navigation button)
To view your Directory select directories from Home view. Select Contact Directory on the Directory screen
To add a contact Navigate to your Contact Directory and press Add. Enter the contact’s information and
press the Save soft key. To make a contact a Favourite enter a Favourite index number
To update contact information Navigate to your Contact Directory and select the contact. Press info sot key,
press Edit soft key, update the contacts information and press Save
To delete a contact Navigate to your contact directory and select the contact. Press the Info soft key, press
the Delete soft key and press the Yes soft key to confirm
To search for a contact Navigate to your contact directory and press search. Enter search criteria and press
search
To dial a contact from your Directory Navigate to your Contact Directory and select the contact. From the
contact’s information screen, select the contact’s phone number
Favourites are contacts you call most often. Your Favourites list displays all your Favourites. A small number of
Favourites displays in Lines view
To view your Favourites list from Home View, press and select Directories> Favourites
To make a contact a Favourite Navigate to your Contact Directory and select the contact. Press Info soft key,
press More soft key, and select Add to Favourites soft key. Press the Yes soft-key to confirm.
To dial a Favourite- Press the Favourite soft key from Home or Lines view, or from your favourites list
To change call volume press, during a call.
To change the ringer volume press, when the phone is idle or ringing
To change call volume on the loudspeaker press, followed by
