PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION

Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes above.

Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and completely remove the old

xturefromtheceiling,includingtheoldmountingstrap.

1.Takethemountingstrapassemblyfromthepartsbag.Oneendofnipple(F)

shouldbeattachedtomountingstrap(A)withwasherandhexnut(CandD)

inplace.Canopyloop(H)isattachedtotheother.Securelyattachmounting

strap(A)tothejunctionboxusingmountingscrews(B)andascrewdriver.

2.Unscrewcanopyloopcollar(I)fromcanopyloop(H).Passcanopy(G)

overthemountedcanopylooptotesttheheight.Approximatelyhalfof

thecanopyloop’sexteriorthreadsshouldbeexposed,andthecanopy

loopcollarshouldtsnuglyontothecanopyloop.Removecanopy(G)and

adjusttheheightofnipple(F)andcanopyloop(H)untilthedesiredheightis

reached.

3.Centerrod(P)hasthexture’swiresinside.Centerrod(P)andspacer

(N)areonthexturewires,butnotattachedtothebodyofthexture.Pull

thewiresuntiltautthroughcenterrod(P)andthreadspacer(N)followedby

centerrod(P)ontothexturebodyatpost(O).

4.Bymeasuring,determinethecorrectnumberofchainlinksneededfor

properhangingheight.Ifnecessary,useapairofplierstoopenandremove

anyexcesschain.Attachonechainconnector(K)toeachendofchain(J).

Useoneofchainconnectors(K)toattachchain(J)totoploop(L)andclose

thechainconnector.Feedthexturewiresupthroughthechain(everythree

linksorso),pullingthewiresuntiltaut.Slidecanopyloopcollar(H)and

canopy(G)ontothechain/wire.Usethefreechainconnector(K)toattach

chain(J)tocanopyloop(H).

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION

6.Raisecanopy(G)uptotheceilingandslidecanopyloopcollar(I)upbeneaththecanopy.Tightlythreadcanopyloopcollar(I)onto

canopyloop(H)tosecurecanopy(G)inplace.

7.Slidecandlesleeves(S)oversockets(T).

Installlightbulbs(notprovided)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donot

exceedthemaximumrecommendedwattage.

8.Haveanassistantholdframe(R)uparoundthexture.Clipdecorativechains(Q)intotheholesontopcap(M)andonframe(R).

Yourinstallationiscomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.

CLEANING TIPS

Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the

xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

CONNECTING THE WIRES

5.Haveanassistantsupportthextureweightwhilecompletingthewiring.

Cutawayexcesswire.Attachthexture’swirestothepowersupplywires

fromthejunctionbox.Connectblacktoblack(orsmooth);whitetowhite

(orribbed);groundtoground(greenorcopper).Twisttheendsofthewire

pairstogether,thentwistonawireconnector.Makesurealltwistsarein

thesamedirection.Ifthereisnogroundwire(greenorcopper)fromthe

junctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onmountingstrap(B)andwrapthe

xture’sgroundwirearoundthegreengroundscrew(E).Useascrewdriver

tosecuregroundscrew(E)ontothemountingbracket.Tuckallwiresneatly

intothejunctionbox.
