BASE INSTRUCTIONS
A FIRM, LEVEL ,FLAT SURFACE IS
REQUIRED AS A BASE FOR THIS UNIT
SUCH AS CONCRETE OR FLAGS.
- MINIMUM BASE MEASUREMENT
FOR GLADIATOR IS 2400W*2635L
TOOLS REQUIRED
- POSI-DRIV SCREWDRIVER
(POWER DRIVER RECOMMENDED)
- 6mm DIA MASONRY DRILL
- 13mm SOCKET SPANNER
(FOR ANCHOR FIXINGS)
- A TUBE OF ALL WEATHER SEALENT
SUITABLE FOR STEEL AND CONCRETE.
DOOR ALLIGNMENT & ANCHORING
OF UNIT
IT IS IMPORTANT TO CORRECTLY LEVEL
THE UNIT USING THE PACKING PIECES
PROVIDED, ONCE ASSEMBLY IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS
OVERLEAF IS COMPLETE AND PRIOR TO
FIXING THE UNIT TO THE GROUND.
- SLIDE THE PACKING PIECES UNDER THE
CORNERS OF THE UNITS BASE AS
REQUIRED UNTIL AN EQUAL GAP HAS
BEEN ACHIEVED AROUND THE DOORS
ALLOWING FOR THEIR SMOOTH
OPERATION & ALLIGNMENT.
- DRILL THROUGH THE EIGHT HOLES
IN THE BASE OF THE UNIT USING
6mm DIA MASONRY DRILL TO A DEPTH
OF 70mm.
- SCREW IN THE ANCHOR FIXINGS.
(THESE HAVE A SELF CUTTING THREAD)
IF NOT ANCHORING THE UNIT USE
THE SELF SEAL PLUGS TO BLOCK THE
FIXING HOLES (FIT FROM UNDERSIDE)

FIT SCREWS IN THE VERTICAL JOINT FIRST ENSURING THAT THE FRONT, BACK AND TOP OF THE ROOF SECTIONS FIT FLUSH
TOGETHER ON ALL FACES, IN TIGHTENING THESE SCREWS A SEAL SHOULD BE MADE ALONG THIS JOINT.
PRIOR TO FITTING THE REMAINING SIX SCREWS IN THE HORIZONTAL JOINT IT IS NECESSARY TO POSITION THE FRT - BACK TOP COVER
CHANNEL '24' AS SHOWN, THUS HIDING THE POINTS FROM THE PREVIOSLY FITTED SCREWS, THE REMAINING SCREWS HOLD
THE CHANNEL IN PLACE.

PREPARE THE ROOF JOINT STRIPS BY RUNNING TWO BEADS OF SEALENT ALONG THE FULL LENGTH OF THE EDGES OF THE FOLDS THAT RUN DOWN THE BACK
OF THE PART AS INDICATED.
THE BEADS OF SEALENT NEED TO BE LARGE ENOUGH TO CREATE AN ADDTIONAL SEAL WHEN THE PLATE IS PUT INTO POSITION BRIDGING
THE JOINTS ON THE ROOF.

SLACKEN THE PREFITTED ROOF SHROUDS SUFFICIENTLY ENOUGH TO ALLOW THE ENDS OF THE ROOF JOINT PLATES TO BE PUSHED UP UNDERNEATH THEM.
THE JOINT PLATES SHOULD BE POSITIONED CENTRALLY OVER THE ROOF JOINTS AS SHOWN ON THE DETAIL
RE-TIGHTEN THE SHROUDS TO TRAP THE PLATES.

LEAVE THE SCREWS SLACK TO ENABLE

POSITION IN THE UNIT.

FITTED USING THE FRONT FIXING HOLES 'B'

THE SHELF IS FIXED UTILISING THE SCREWS
ALREADY IN THE UNIT.
POSITION THE PRE-ASSEMBLED SHELF AT THE DESIRED
HEIGHT ALIGNING THE CLEARENCE HOLES IN THE SHELF
BRKTS WITH THE CORRESPONDING SCREWS. (TWO PER BRKT)
REMOVE THE SCREWS AS REQUIRED AND REFIT FIXING THE
SHELF BRKTS IN PLACE. (SEE FIG 5 BELOW)
WHEN SHELVES ARE FITTED TIGHTEN
MACHINE SCREWS '4' TO SECURE.
FIT ALL WOOD FLOORING PRIOR TO FITTING SHELVES.
