1997-06 Jeep TJ Rear License Plate Relocation Bracket
Tools Needed:
10mm Socket
Phillips Screwdriver

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Using a 10mm socket, remove the factory license plate bracket from the Jeep. See Photo 1.
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the taillight lens. See Photo 2.
Kit Contents:
1-Rough Country License Plate
Bracket
1-70524BAG containing:
3-6mm x 20mm Bolts
5-6mm Flat Washers
2-6mm x 16mm Bolts
2-6mm Nylon Locknuts

3. Using a 10mm socket, remove the taillight from the Jeep. See Photo 3.
4. Unplug the taillight wiring harness. See Photo 4.
4. Place the wiring harness through the rectangle hole in the license plate bracket and plug back together. See Photo
5.
5. Bolt the light housing and license plate bracket to the jeep, using the 3 supplied 6mm x 20mm bolts and washers.
Install the 2 6mm x 16mm bolts through the bracket with the bolt head towards the Jeep body. See Photo 6.
6. Tighten the light housing using a 10mm socket. Using a Phillips screwdriver, attach the taillight lens. See Photo 7.
7. Attach your license plate using the supplied 6mm x 16mm bolts, nuts and washers. See Photo 8.
