USING THEWASHER
Bleach
When usingliquidchlorinebleach,carefully
measuretheamountof bleachrecommendedon
thebottlelabel.General recommendationsare
1/8 cup for each 2 gallonsof washwater.

MEDIUM- 14 gallons (12 Imperial gallons; 53

Add the recommendedamountof liquid chlorine
bleach to the dispenserbefore placing the clothes
in thewasher tub. Properlydiluted bleachwill be
added automaticallyto thewash water.
Becarefulwheneveryouuseliquidchlorine
bleach.It isa powerfulchemicalandcancause
fabricdamage,suchastearsor colorloss,if not
usedproperly.Donotpourdirecllyonfabrics.
Wipe upspillswith a papertowel.
Oxygenor all-fabricbleachmay be addedwith
thedetergent.Followtheinstructionsonthe
package. If usedimproperly,fabric damage may
occur, suchas color loss.Donat putgranular
bleachor detergentin bleachdispenser.
Detergent
Useeitherliquid or granular laundry detergent.
Add measuredamount of detergentto washtub
before loading.
Readthe manufacturer'sinstructionsand usethe
correct amount.Most instructionsare for washing
an "average" load. Ifthe sizeof the load isextra
large, the degree of soil isheavier than average
and thewater is harder than 6 grains per gallon,
moredetergentshould be used.
Wipe up any spillsof liquid laundry detergenton
thewasher.

Loading the Washer
Placedry, unfoldedclothesloosely inthe tub, up
to thetop row of holesfor a maximumload. Do
not pack or wrap itemsaround the agitator. See
MAY'I'AGLAUNDERINGGUIDEfor suggestions
on sorting. Besureto emptyall pockets,mend
any holesor tearsand pretreatspots,stainsand
heavilysoiled areas.
Fabric Softener
When usingrinse-addedfabric softener,add the
recommendedamounttothecup locatedintop of
theagitator.Thecup may beliftedoutforfilling.
Add warm waterto bring liquidlevelto the
indicatedFILLLINEinthecup. Dilutedfabric
softenerwill automaticallybe addedtotherinse.
(Alwaysdilutefabricsoftenerwithwater.)
Do notinterruptthe spinfollowingthewashcycle

Full One Year Warranty
Forone (1) year fromthedate of original retail purchase,any part which fails in normal homeusewill be repaired or
replaced free of charge.
Umited Parts Warranty
After the firstyear from the date of original retail purchase,throughthe time periods listedbelow, thedesignatedparts which
fail in normal homeusewill be repaired or replaced freeof charge for thepart itself,with the owner paying all other costs,
including labor.
Second Year--All parts.
Third through Fifth Year Thedrive motor.All partsof thesolid statecontrols(if soequipped).
