USING THE WASHER
Detergent

Loading the Washer

not pack or wrap itemsaround the agitator. See

on sorting. Besureto emptyall pockets,mend
any holesor tearsand pretreatspots,stainsand
heavily soiledareas.
Whenreusingwater,do natloadclothesuntilthe
washwater hasbeenreturnedto thewashertub.
Suggestedloadsand launderingsequenceare:
a. Lightlysoiledwhites,suchassheetsand
pillowcases.
b. Lightlysoiledcolors, suchascotton blouses,
shirtsand sheets.
c. Dark or bright colored items.
d. Heavily soileditemssuchas jeans, work
clothesor rugs.
NOTE: It is recommendedthat permanentpress
itemsbewashedin freshwater.
Thefirstload shouldbe one that can be safely
washed in hot water. When the water is reused,
thetemperaturewill be suitablefor warm water
washing.
Thenumberof timesthe washwater issavedand
reuseddependsupon how dirty the loads are
and thescarcityof water.

Fabric Softener
When usingrinse-addedfabric softener,add the
recommendedamountto thecup located in top of
the agitator.Thecup may be lifted out for filling.
Add warm water to bring liquid level to the
indicated FILLLiNEin the cup. Dilutedfabric
softenerwill automatically be added to the rinse.
(Alwaysdilutefabricsoftenerwithwater.)
Do notinterruptthespinfollowingthewashcycle
becausethesoftenerwill go intothewashtubat

be flushedandcleanedwith hotwater and a soft

Bleach
When usingliquidchlorinebleach,carefully
measuretheamountof bleachrecommendedon
