Manual of this UPS before attempting any switching operations.
CAUTION! Only trained personnel may switch power to the external
bypass system. Switching operations carried out against this procedure
may result in damage to the UPS.

OPERATING THE EXTERNAL BYPASS SYSTEM
* If a non-original module is used, install a 100 A / 440 V DC fuse on the positive and negative lines.

Installation diagram symbols:
Fm, Fb, Fsb – Switch fuses (the switch fuse Fb is an optional accessory);
Qout, Qsb – Switch disconnectors;
PP1, PP2, PP3 – Emergency power-off (EPO) push-buttons;
A, B – Connection wires.
Install the switch fuse Fb only if the POWERLINE GREEN 33 LITE UPS has the
optional BYPASS input. The list of safeguards with the wire sizes for the UPS models
is shown in a separate documentation, "Installation guidelines for the POWERLINE
GREEN 33 LITE 10-60kVA UPS units".
This UPS has been designed for operation in TN systems
Qsb – Mechanically locked in the break position when
receivers are powered from the UPS
Keep the Fsb links outside of the UPS switching room when
powering the receivers from the UPS.
Fsb, Qsb – Operated by trained personnel only; Incorrect use may
damage the UPS

SWITCHING FROM THE UPS POWER TO THE MAINS POWER LINE
Follow this procedure to switch the isolated UPS-powered network to the mains
power with the external bypass system (Fig. 1):
1. Turn off the UPS. To do this, go in the interface to: Menu -> Control -> UPS -> Off
(the UPS will be powered off on the logical level).
2. Wait until the UPS is turned off on the logical level and indicates that the
connected receivers are powered via the internal bypass– STANDBY mode.
3. Turn on the switch disconnector Qsb on the bypass line.
4. Turn on the switch fuse Fsb on the bypass line.
5. Turn off the switch disconnector Qout on the UPS output line.
6. Turn off the switch fuse Fm on the UPS input line (also turn off Fb if the UPS has a
separate BYPASS line option).

SWITCHING FROM THE MAINS POWER LINE TO THE UPS POWER
Follow this procedure to switch the isolated mains-powered network (Fig. 1) to the
UPS power:
1. Make sure that the UPS has been powered off on the logical level.
2. Turn on the switch fuse Fm on the UPS input line (also turn on Fb if the UPS has
a separate BYPASS line option).
3. Wait until the UPS indicates that the connected receivers are powered via the
internal bypass– STANDBY mode.
4. Turn on the switch disconnector Qout on the UPS output line.
5. Turn off the switch fuse Fsb on the bypass line.
6. Turn off the switch disconnector Qsb on the bypass line.
7. Turn on the UPS. To do this, go in the interface to: Menu -> Control -> UPS ->On
(the UPS will be powered on on the logical level) –MAINS mode.
CAUTION! Once the procedure for restoring the UPS power has been
completed, secure the disconnectors and fuses on the external bypass
line from inadvertent switching on by unauthorised personnel.
