Philex 28077R is a universal LCD/plasma wall mount designed to fit most LCD and plasma televisions up to 37” diagonal screen size. It has a weight capacity of 75kg and features a tilting mechanism for adjusting the viewing angle. The wall mount is compatible with wood, brick, or concrete walls. It comes with all necessary hardware for installation, including wall bolt washers, M4/M5 washers, 1/2” plastic spacers, M4x30mm machine screws, 1/4 - 20x1” safety bolts, M8x25mm machine screws, M5x30mm machine screws, and an Allen key.

sions. Some televisions may require a specic mount only available from the manufacturer.
The weight capacity of this bracket is 75kg in order for the tilting mechanism to maintain secure.

Note: We have not supplied wall xings with this product. All walls differ in strength and
thickness. We advise that you consult professional personell for guidance for purchasing
screws designed specically for your type of wall.

STEP ONE
WALL FITTING FOR WOOD STRUCTURE (eg STUD WALLING)
Note: the wall plate MUST be mounted on TWO wood studs. Use a high quality stud sensor to locate two adjascent
studs. Use a thin nail to ensure you have correctly located the stud.. Use the wall plate to mark 4 drilling positions on the
studs. After predrilling, t the wall mount to the studs using an appropriate bolt/screw and the supplied wall bolt washer
ensuring that the at surface in the centre of the plate is against the wall..
STEP TWO - FITTING THE TV RAILS TO THE TELEVISION
Position the TV rails on the back of the television so that they are of equal distance to the top of the telivision, as close
to the centre of the television as possible and the TV rail knobs are facing outwards.
Fit the rails to your television using the provided M4, M5 or M8 bolts. Your television may be supplied with its own xing
bolts, in which case you should use those. If there are no bolts supplied with your television and the bolts provided do
not t, please contact your television manufacturer for advise for what specication of bolt to use and purchase from
your local hardware store.
If your television has a curved or recessed back panel you should us the supplied plastic spacers (part f). Should the
xing bolts be too long, you can use the M4/M5 washers. Ensure the bolts are fully tightened.
WALL FITTING FOR CONCRETE/BRICK WALLS
Use the wall plate to mark at least 4 drilling positions on the solid wall. After predrilling, t the wall mount to the studs
using an appropriate bolt/screw and the supplied wall bolt washer ensuring that the at surface in the centre of the plate
is against the wall.

STEP THREE
- ATTACHING THE TV TO THE WALL PLATE
Once you have tted the TV rails securely to the rear of your television you can attach it to the wall plate. Hook the TV
rails onto the top of the wall plate as shown below. Ensure that the knobs are facing outwards.
Fit two safety bolts to the bottom of the TV rails to ensure the TV rails cannot be moved from the wall plate. The safety
bolts are not meant to tighten onto the wall plate itself.
Now you have tted the television to the wall plate, adjust the angle of tilt to the desired level and tighen the knobs to
maintain its position.
