CAM LOCK SYSTEM OPERATION

HOW THE KNOCK DOWN (KD) ASSEMBLY SYSTEM WORKS

1. Screw Cam Bolt into the threaded insert on panel.

2. Insert Cam Lock into pre-drilled hole on panel.

3. Make sure Cam Lock pointed arrow is pointed towards the entry of Cam Bolt.

4. Connect both panels together; making sure Cam Bolt goes into pre-drilled hole on the end of

panel with Cam Lock.

5. Once Cam Bolt is connected inside Cam Lock, take a Phillips screwdriver and tighten Cam Lock

clockwise.

You are now ready to assemble the KD unit.

Assembly Instructions

Note: Please do not fully tighten all bolts until you finish assembling all parts. Once assembled,

go back and fully tighten all bolts. This will make it easier during assembly of unit.

1. Unpack the unit and confirm that you have all the hardware and required parts listed.

2. Place Top Frame (A), Left & Right Side Panel (B & C) on a level and protective surface with the

holes facing up. Insert and screw the Large Cam Bolts (3) all the way into the threaded inserts as

shown in detail #1. Fully tighten with the Phillips Screwdriver.

3. Insert four Small Cam Bolts (4) all the way into the pre-drilled small holes on Drawer Front Panel (H)

as shown in detail #1A. Make sure the Cam Bolts are screwed straightly.

4. Using the pilot holes as a guide, attach two Casters with Brake (9) onto the end with cutout and two

Casters without Brake (10) onto the back end of the Bottom Panel (E) using four 5/8” Screws (6) in

each. Tighten the screws with the Phillips Screwdriver. See detail #2.

5. Fasten one Caster without Brake (10) onto the wood support on the Drawer Bottom Panel (L) using

four 5/8” Screws (6) as shown in detail #2.

6. Insert four Small Wood Dowels (8) into the middle holes on Drawer Back Panel (K) as a guide.

Connect Drawer Left and Right Side Panel (I & J) to the Drawer Back Panel (K) using four 1-1/4”

Screws (5). Make sure the grooves facing inward. See detail #3.

7. Slide the Drawer Bottom Panel (L) all the way into the grooves as shown in detail #3. Be sure the

Caster on the Drawer Bottom Panel will locate at front bottom of the drawer.

8. Insert 4 Small Wood Dowels (8) into the middle holes on the Drawer Left and Right Side (I & J).

Position Drawer Front Panel (H) onto the Wood Dowels, the handle holes up, and attach in place with

four Small Cam Locks (2) (Refer to page #2 on Hidden Cam System Operation Supplement). See

detail #4.

9. Attach Handle (11) to the outside of Drawer Front Panel (H) with the Handle Bolts provided.

10. Place 2 File Rods (M) onto the slots between Drawer Left and Right Side (I & J) as shown in detail #4.

11. Insert 2 Large Wood Dowels (7) into the end holes on each edge of Fix Shelf (D) and Bottom Panel

(E). Tap in with a rubber mallet if necessary. DO NOT put dowels into the Cam Bolt holes. .

12. Position Left & Right Side Panel (B & C) onto the inserted Wood Dowels. Make sure the cutout of

Bottom Panel (E) and Slide Tracks Opening point toward front of the unit and the Cam Lock holes on

the Fix Shelf (D) and Bottom Panel (E) face bottom. Attach in place with eight Large Cam Locks (1)

and fully tighten the Cam Locks clockwise with Phillip Screwdriver. See detail #5.

13. Stand the unit upright.

14. Slide Rear Panel (F) all the way into the grooves as shown in detail #6.

15. Insert 4 Large Wood Dowels (7) into the middle holes on the top of Left & Right Side Panel (B & C)

as shown in detail #9.

16. Position Top Frame (A) onto the inserted Wood Dowels and attach in place by engaging four Large

Cam Locks (1) (Refer to page #2 on Hidden Cam System Operation Supplement). See detail # 7.

17. Position Top Glass (G) onto place with the black side of glass down as shown in detail #8.

Note: If glass is scratched you can minimize the damage by using a BLACK marker and

filling in scratched area from underneath.

18. Extend the Sliding Tracks on the Left and Right Side Panel (B & C) all the way forward (including

ball bearing cart). Then align the Slide Runners on the assembled Drawer with the Slide Tracks and

push the drawer carefully inside until it stops. As shown in detail #8.

Note: If they do not go smoothly, please take out and repeat the step. If you need to remove the

Drawer, please pull the Drawer all the way out, then push the plastic release lever of the ball bearing

slide up on one side and down on the other side, and then pull it completely out.

KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

If the glass is chipped or broken, stop using the product and consult the manufacturer or supplier.

1) Do not place very hot or very cold items on the glass surface unless adequately thick

tablemats are used to prevent such items from coming into contact with the glass.

2) Do not sit or stand upon the glass surface.

3) Do not use the glass as a chopping surface. Do not strike the glass with hard or pointed items.

4) When cleaning glass panels use a damp cloth or leather with washing up liquid or soft soap

if necessary; do not use washing powders or any other substances containing abrasive since

these substances scratch glass.

Care and Maintenance

 Use a soft, clean cloth that will not scratch the surface when dusting.

 Use of furniture polish is not necessary. Should you choose to use polish, test first in an inconspicuous

area.

 Using solvents of any kind on your furniture may damage the finish.

 Never use water to clean your furniture as it may cause damage to the finish.

 Always use coasters under beverage glasses and flowerpots.

 Liquid spills should be removed immediately. Using a soft clean cloth, blot the spill gently. Avoid

rubbing.

 Always use protective pads under hot dishes and plates. Heat can cause chemical changes that may

create spotting within the furniture finish.

 Stains or marks from crayons or ink markers will be difficult to remove.

 In the event that your furniture is stained or otherwise damaged during use, we recommend that you call

a professional to repair your furniture.

 Check Cam bolts/screws periodically and tighten them if necessary.

Further advice about wood furniture care

It is best to keep your furniture in a climate-controlled environment. Extreme temperature and humidity

changes can cause fading, warping, shrinking and splitting of wood. It is advised to keep furniture away from

direct sunlight as sun may damage the finish.

Proper care and cleaning at home will extend the life of your purchase. Following these important and

helpful tips will enhance your furniture as it ages.

A Touch-up Pen has been provided to repair any small nicks or scratches that may occur during

assembly or shipping.
