1 Product description
The water module is part of the breeding system that produces the black soldier flies and supplies water to the
flies in the breeding cage. Water is added outside the cage, which thus saturates the water stone inside the
cage so the flies can drink from the stone.

Used as a water supply for black soldier flies.
It consists of a front and back plate, a water container, and a water stone.

3 Mounting guide
Check that all ordered parts are present and undamaged prior to starting the work. Read the directions carefully
before starting mounting.

It is an advantage to make a template if you have to
mount many water modules.
Make the template according to this drawing.
Remember always to use a spirit level.
Drill the 8x8.5 mm holes.
Saw the hole.
1 mm
Cut a countersinking of 1 mm for the back plate.
Mount the back plate in the drilled holes.
Mount the front plate and back plate using 8 PT
screws 3x6 TX 10.

Mount the water container through the front and back
plate.
Place the water stone in the water container.

4 Maintenance instructions
Clean the water module after each batch. The water module can be cleaned with an industrial dishwasher or
high-pressure cleaner.
The product may be cleaned by a high-pressure cleaner without using:
• solvents
• corrosive/caustic agents
4.1 Recycling/Disposal
Products suitable for recycling are marked with a pictogram.
It must be possible for customers to deliver the products to local collection sites/recycling stations in accordance
with local instructions. The recycling station will then arrange for further transport to a certified plant for reuse,
recovery and recycling.
