CALLING MODULE PROGRAMMING
PROCEDURE
The calling module with repertory may be programmed as follows:
Locally, via the keypad, without opening the module frame.
Via remote Palm OS device provided with IrDA interface and
software downloadable from the site www.urmetdomus.com.
Via GSM modem Ref. 1082/52 and PC software downloadable
from the site www.urmetdomus.com.
PARAMETERS
The following parameters will need to be programmed:
1. OPERATING LANGUAGE
Up to 10 different operating languages can be selected.
2. NUMBER OF LINES
The number of lines managed by the device can be selected. The
device can manage one 2GO! line (up to 31 users) or two 2GO!
lines (up to 62 users).
3. SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS
This parameter enables external camera cycle function.
Surveillance camera can be connected to the door unit (terminals
V3, V5) using a relay box Ref. 1038/69 controlled by terminals T,
GND.
4. FIRST CODE
The admissible values for the rst code are comprised in the range
from 1 to 62. The rst code indicates the beginning of the range of
users who can operate the door lock also if no communication is
established (if free door opener function is enabled).
5. LAST CODE
The admissible values for the last code are comprised in the
range from 1 to 62. The last code indicates the end of the range of
users who can operate the door lock also if no communication is
established (if free door opener function is enabled).
6. SPECIAL CODE
The admissible values for the special code are comprised in the
range from 1000 to 9999. The special code is used to enable
the staircase light function, if a special decoder is present in the
system.
7. PASSWORD
The admissible values for the password are comprised in the
range from 1000 to 9999. The password is used to program the
calling module.
8. MODULE ID
This value indicates the module code. Possible values are 1, 2
and 3.
9. DOOR PHONE/VIDEO DOOR PHONE CODE
Admissible values are in the range from 1 to 99. The codes from 1
to 49 indicate that the device is provided with camera. The codes
from 50 to 99 indicate that the device is only a door phone. This
also indicates the remote device programming code.
10. LCD CONTRAST
The display contrast level of the display is set by default to an
optimal level. The setting can be changed if needed.
11. MODULE TYPE
The calling module may be a main device or a secondary
device. See the 2GO! system manual for main/secondary device
management.
12. DOOR OPENER MODE
Two door opener modes may be selected:
Privacy.
Free.
13. NAMES
Up to 186 names can be entered in the calling module. Refer to
the programming steps shown below for entering names.
14. DOOR OPENER CODES
Up to 100 door opener codes, unrelated to names, for general
use, can be stored in the calling module.
PROGRAMMING BY KEYPAD
Press / to scroll the various programming menus. Press to
con rm selections. Press X to quit.
Press 0 twice to access device programming mode. The following
message will appear:
Enter the password and press to con rm. The following message
will appear if the password is not correct:
Enter a correct password to access the multilevel menu shown below
and described next to the various screenshots.
The rst menu level is:
LANGUAGE MENU
Select the language menu. The following will appear:

Press / to select the required language. Press to con rm
selection. Press X to return to the rst level menu.

CONFIGURATION MENU
Select the con guration menu to access the various setup options.
Each setting must be con rmed before accessing the following one.
Scroll all con gurations to quit the con guration menu.
The rst con guration is:
Use / to select the number of 2GO! wired to the device. Press
to select the option indicated by the cursor and go to the following
page:
Press / to select the surveillance cameras tted in the system.
Press
to select the option indicated by the cursor and go to the
following page:
Use the keypad to enter the rst system code. Two characters can be
entered. Use X to delete the character if you make a mistake. Press
to select the indicated option and go to the following page:
The rst code and the last code identify which power unit (2GO! riser)
the users are connected to.
Use the keypad to enter the last system code. Two characters can be
entered. Use X to delete the character if you make a mistake. Press
to select the indicated option and go to the following page:
Enter the special code using the keypad. The special code is used to
activate special decoders tted in the system. Four characters must
be entered. Use X to delete the character if you make a mistake. Press
to select the indicated option and go to the following page:
Enter the device password using the keypad. Four characters must be
entered. Use X to delete the character if you make a mistake.
Press to select the indicated option and go to the following page:
Enter the device ID code (1, 2 or 3) using the keypad. One character
can be entered. Use X to delete the character if you make a mistake.
Press to select the indicated option and go to the following page:
Enter the device remote programming code with the keypad. Two
characters can be entered. Use X to delete the character if you make
a mistake.
Press
to select the indicated option and go to the following page:
Press / to change the graphic display contrast. Press to con rm
contrast and go to the following page:
Use / to select whether the device is a main or a secondary device:
The selection is shown by the cursor. Press
to go to the following
page:
Use / to select the door opening type (free/privacy).
The selection is shown by the cursor. Press to end module
programming.
NAME MANAGEMENT MENU
Select the name management menu to access the following menu:
Use / to select the option. Press to con rm. Press X to quit the
menu.
The name management second level menu options are:
Use / to select the characters and press . to con rm. Press X to
delete a character if you make a mistake. Press X on a empty line to
return to the previous menu.
Press to con rm name selection. A name can be entered on two
lines (32 characters).

The following message will appear if a name already exists:
The eld for entering the code corresponding to the user will appear
if the name is correct:
Enter the code using the keypad. Press X to delete entry. Press X on
an empty line to return to name entry mode.
Press to con rm code selection.
The following message will appear if the code is wrong (code <1 or
>62):
The system will go to the next programming step if the code is
correct:
Enter the user’s door opener code using the keypad (optional). Press
X to delete a character if you make a mistake. Press X on an empty
line to return to the name entry step without adding the name.
Press to con rm the user’s name and code and the possible door
opener code.
The following will appear if the code is wrong (<4 digits or already
existent in the calling module):
The following page will appear if the door opener code is correct:
The new user is added to the database and the system returns to the
higher menu level.
The following steps are used to access the name editing menu:
Press / to scroll the list of stored users. Press to edit the
selected name. The steps for editing a name are the same as those
for adding a new user.
Select the name deletion menu and selection the name to be deleted
(the procedure is the same as that for editing a user name).
Con rmation is required before deleting a selected name:
Press to select the option indicated by the cursor. If the cursor is
pointing to YES, the system will return to the user menu step (add,
edit, delete) after deleting. If the cursor is pointing to NO, the system
will return to the name selection step
Con rmation is required before clearing all names:
Press with cursor pointing to YES to clear the entire database (all
names, user codes and door opener codes) and go back to the user
menu step. Press with the cursor pointing to NO, to go back to the
higher menu level.
DOOR OPENER CODE MENU
Select the door opener code menu to access the following menu:
Press / to scroll the various menu items. Press to con rm the
selection. Press X to quit the menu.
The door opener code management second level menu options are:

PROGRAMMING BY MODEM - ERROR MESSAGES
Enter the code using the keypad. Press to con rm code entry.
Press X to correct the door opener code. Press X on a empty line to
return to the previous menu.
The following will appear if the code is wrong (<4 digits or already
existent in the calling module):
The system will return to the code entry step. The correct code will be
added to the database and the door opener codes menu will appear
on the display.
The following steps are used to access the editing menu:
Press / to scroll the list of stored door opener codes. Press
while the code is displayed to edit the code. The steps for editing a
code are the same as those for adding a new code.
Select the code deletion menu and selection of the code to be deleted
(the procedure is the same as that for editing a user name).
Con rmation is required before deleting a selected code:
Press o select the option indicated by the cursor. Use / to move
the cursor. If the cursor is pointing to YES, the system will return to the
door opener code menu step (add, edit, delete) after deleting. If the
cursor is pointing to NO, the system will return to the code selection
step.
Con rmation is required before clearing all names:
If con rmed, are deleted the 100 free door lock release codes.
PROGRAMMING BY REMOTE IrDA DEVICE
The calling module can also be programmed using a hand-held device
running appropriate software via the infrared port.
The software can be downloaded from the site
www.urmetdomus.com.
Proceed as follows to access the remote programming mode via the
IrDA port:
Press 0 twice to access programming mode.
Place the hand-held device near the infrared port of the device. The
following page will appear:
Access programming mode using the hand-held device. The
following page will appear:
Programming the calling module with the Palm Os device.
Press X to quit remote programming. The module will return to
stand-by mode.
PROGRAMMING BY MODEM
For programming by Modem refer to documentation on the site www.
urmetdomus.com.
For this programmation must be installed the interface
Ref. 1082/53.
ERROR MESSAGES
Various types of error messages may appear on the display.
NORMAL OPERATION ERRORS
Wrong calling code, door opener code, special code:
INSTALLATION/PROGRAMMING ERRORS
Module ID code error:
X is either A or B indicating the line on which another device with the
same code is present.
ONLY ONE main device may be present in a system (code ID 1).
Two secondary devices can be connected to each branch (2 on
each line).
The same message may appear in the event of a line error.
X may become either A or B in this case.
This type of error appears when line impedance parameters are not
correctly set (same function as the “yellow LED” on the 2GO! door
unit).
