The Ref. 1082/14 calling module corresponds to 2 K-Steel modules
and is provided with back-lit 16x2 character LCD display, built-in
door unit and back-lit buttons. Flush-mounting boxes or cases with
hood and respective module holders and accessories are required for
installation (see “Installation” section).
PERFORMANCE
The Ref. 1082/14 calling module offers the following functions:
Possibility of managing 2GO! systems with up to 62 users.
Possibility of forwarding door phone or video door phone calls.
Selection of name to be called by means of scroll buttons and
two 16 character row back-lit graphic display. Up to 186 separate
names are available.
Direct selection by keypad of numeric calling code. Up to 62
available user codes. Each user code can be associated to up to 3
different names.
Up to 286 door opener codes split into two categories: 100 generic
codes (not linked to names) and 186 codes associated to names.
Door opener pulse (free or private).
Electrical lock operation tone and visual signal.
60 second pick-up waiting time (system busy).
2 minute maximum conversation time from handset pick-up.
Call and end of conversation con rmation tones and indication on
display.
Terminals for connecting to hall button for operating the electrical
lock.
Door sensor connection terminals.
Relay box control for cyclic management of several surveillance
cameras.
Speaker volume adjustment trimmer.
Load activation special code management (staircase lights).
Ten interface languages.
Connection to RS485 bus for remote programming via GSM
module.
IrDA infrared interface programming.

OPERATION
System users are univocally identi ed by a numeric code from 1 to
62.
A name database can be stored for associating names to numeric
user codes and door opener codes.
Other 100 door opener codes not associated to users can be
managed.
Door opener codes must be univocal in the system.
The various 2GO! repertory operating modes are:

OPERATION
STAND-BY
STAND-BY WITHOUT USER DATABASE
The following appears on the display:
STAND-BY WITH USER CODE DATABASE
The following two messages appear cyclically every two seconds:
BUSY
The following message appears on the display if the module is in
stand-by mode and the line is busy:
CONVERSATION AND BUSY MANAGEMENT
To make a call, either enter the user’s code or select the user’s name
(if a user database is present).
CALL BY ENTERING CODE
The user’s code can be entered using the keypad to make a call. The
following appears on the display:
Press X to correct and return module to stand-by mode.
Press the button after entering the code to make the call. The
button will be activated for 2.5s. Press again to repeat the call.
The following message will appear on the display for two seconds if
the code is wrong (extern to rst/last code):
CALL BY SELECTING NAME
A user can be selected if a user name database is present. Press
/ to access the database. The user’s name will appear on two lines,
for example:
Press / to scroll the database in circular fashion (the rst user will
appear after the last name). The name list is in alphabetical order.
Press X or wait for the timeout to return to stand-by mode. Press the
button after selecting the name to make the call. The button will be
activated for 2.5s. Press again to repeat the call.
CALL MADE
The following will appear after a call is made:
Conversation will be established with the device if the apartment
station picks up:
A sandglass icon will appear if the video door phone is called
from a door phone station.
DOOR OPENER CODES
The following message will appear if the button
is pressed only
once:
prompting to enter the door opening code. Press X to correct and
return module to stand-by mode. The electrical lock will be operated
and the following message will appear if the entered code is
correct:
The following message appears if the code does not correspond to
a stored code:
Both messages will be shown for three seconds after which the
module will return to stand-by mode.
SPECIAL CODE
A secret four-digit code can be used to send a control to a special
Ref. 1082/80 decoder. Press 0: the following message will appear:

PROGRAMMING
INSTALLATION
HALL BUTTON SIGNAL MANAGEMENT
The door unit manages the hall button contact (PA contact). Press the
button (closed contact): the calling module will operate the electrical
lock.
AUTO POWER-ON, SURVEILLANCE CAMERA
MANAGEMENT
Auto power-on is operated on main door unit ID 1. The user will see
the video door unit camera frame when the video door phone auto
power-on button is pressed once. The surveillance camera frames will
be shown in cycle when the button is pressed again. Communication
is established with the video door unit and the respective camera
frame is shown when the user picks up the handset.
The cycle will last for up to the off-hook time (60 seconds) after which
the system returns to stand-by.
ELECTRICAL LOCK
The door unit operates the electrical lock by means of a capacitance
discharge.
The electrical lock is controlled by a pulse (1 second) which can be
managed as follows:
Privacy door opener:
the electrical lock can only be operated by the apartment station
which is communicating with the calling station.
Free door opener:
the electrical lock can be operated also if the apartment station has
not established a communication with the calling station.
The apartment stations which can operate the electrical lock, also
if no communication is established, are those included in the range
from the rst code to the last code (see programming).
PROGRAMMING
The calling module with repertory may be programmed as follows:
Locally, via the keypad, without opening the module frame.
Via remote Palm OS device provided with IrDA interface and
appropriate software downloadable from www.urmetdomus.com.
Via Ref. 1082/52 GSM modem and PC software downloadable
from www.urmetdomus.com.
For programming mode refer to the section 2A “Calling module”.

Switch on the device pressing X, 1, 4 and 7 to restore the default
settings.

INSTALLATION
The calling module with repertory Ref. 1082/14 can be used alone or
in a combination with a camera unit.
Examples of modular constructions using 2 or 3 module holder frames
with respective ush-mounting boxes are shown below.
The door unit module should be installed at a height of approximately
1.55 ÷ 1.60 metres.

Important
The module should not be illuminated from behind to make the calling
module display easier to read. Never direct the module towards
strong sources of light (e.g. the sun, lampposts, light bulbs, ashes
or glare).
FLUSH-MOUNTED VERSION
Purchase ush-mounting boxes, frames and module holders
separately for wall mounting. The product codes (according to number
of modules) are:

Refer the protections from the hole to be used to pass the wires
only from the ush-mounting box.
The holes in the upper part must only be used for introducing the
cables if overlapped to other boxes.

Flush the box and the required height considering the direction and
the indications provided for video systems.
Warning: During installation, protect all parts which will be exposed
to view from mortar, plaster and cement.
NEVER USE ABRASIVE DETERGENTS to clean units.
Fit the ush mounting box in line with the wall: it must not project.

The wall surface on which the front rests must be as smooth as
possible (max. tolerance 1.5mm).
If the internal production has been removed from the box for any
reason, insert it as shown in the gure. Fix it in the upper part not
used for xing the module holder frame.
IMPORTANT: the warranty conditions will be forfeited if the
protection is either not installed or installed incorrectly.
For tting, loosen the two tap screws and remove the crossbar from
the embedding box frame. Fit the modules in the frame.

means of the speci c hinged attachment.

CAMERA MODULE CONNECTION
A three wire connector is provided for connecting the 1755/40 (colour)
or 1755/70 (black and white) camera module to the back of the calling
module:
RED - Power positive
BLACK - Power negative
WHITE - Video signal coax
For the camera unit speci cations refer to “Technical product
manual” Door phone and Video door phone systems “K-Steel
panels” section.
WALL-MOUNTED VERSION WITH CASE AND
HOOD
Cases and hoods protect the calling module from the weather and
may be used for installation on walls without ush-mounted parts.
The case is provided with module holder frame.
The available models and the dimensions of cases and frames are
shown in “Technical product manual - door phone and video door
phone systems” section “Modular Vandal-proof panel K-Steel”.
