i. basic understanding of telephone headset
pairing a telephone headset to your telephone
Different telephone terminals have very different requirements, some
telephones have direct headset jack, some telephones may even have
volume amplifications for headset, but there are many telephones that do
not. If your telephone does not support direct headset input, you will need a
telephone amplifier to pair with your telephone headset.
Since different telephone manufacturer have different settings to their
telephone, there isn't one universal headset settings, so if you do not know
the pin-alignment settings of your telephone, you will need a telephone-
headset adaptor to pair with your headset.

Telephone headsets comes in monaural (single-sided) version and binaural
(double-sided) version to serve different needs. A monaural headset will be
convenient for users to be aware of the surroundings, whereas a binaural
headset is perfect for concentration within a noisy environment.
The two most common types of wearing style for telephone headsets are
over-the-head and over-the-ear, but Accutone offers a convertible version as
well.

telephone-only amplifier vs pc/telephone amplifier
There are basically two types of telephone amplifiers from Accutone,
telephone-only amplifiers are designed for teleconversation-intensive
application, namely professional call-center markets. They are much better
in terms telephone compatibility, acoustic quality and power-consumption.
However PC/Telephone amplifier are much more flexible and offers
convenience for users to switch from traditional fixed-line teleconversation
