Swann Home Series is a wireless kinetic door chime that allows you to customize your home's chime and alerts. With multiple chimes to choose from, you can select the perfect sound for your home. The adjustable volume levels let you set the chime to your desired loudness, and the silent mode option provides peace and quiet when needed.

The Swann Home Series is easy to install with two mounting options: mounting plate and screws or double-sided tape. The doorbell unit can be mounted near any point of entry, while the speaker unit can be plugged into any spare power socket.

The wireless range of up to 65ft/20m allows you to place the speaker unit anywhere in your home without worrying about losing connection. You can also add additional speaker units to extend the range and ensure you can hear the chime from anywhere in your home.

Feature Description - Speaker Unit

1. Indicator LED - The LED will flash when the
doorbell is pressed. It will continue flashing for
the duration of the chime selected.
2. Chime Selection - Press this to select a
different chime.
2. Learning Mode - To pair an additional
speaker or doorbell unit, press and hold the
button until the LED turns on. The speaker unit
is now in learning mode. Press the doorbell
twice to pair the doorbell unit with the speaker
unit. The LED will flash and a chime will play
indicating a successful pair.
3. Volume - Press this to adjust the volume
level. There are three different volume levels
that you can select.
3. Silent Mode - Press and hold the button until
you see the LED flash three times. The speaker
unit is now in silent mode. The LED will flash
indicating the doorbell has been pressed.
Press the button again to exit silent mode.
Please note - The distance between
the speaker unit and doorbell
unit can be up to 65ft/20m but the
range may vary depending on local
conditions. Purchase additional
kits to pair multiple speaker and or
doorbell units to each other.

Mounting Instructions
There are two ways that you can permanently
mount the doorbell unit -
1. Mounting Plate & Screws - Find a place that
you want to mount the doorbell unit to. Flat,
smooth surfaces are ideal. It’s recommended
to do a short test before doing a permanent
installation. Place the mounting plate (arrow
pointing upwards) to the surface and use the
provided screws to screw into place. Place
the doorbell unit onto the mounting plate and
press down to lock into place.
2. Double-sided Tape - Find a place that
you want to mount the doorbell unit to. Flat,
smooth surfaces are ideal. Make sure the
surface is clean and dry before mounting. Its
recommended to do a short test before doing
a permanent installation. Peel off one side of
the double-sided tape and attach it to the rear
of the doorbell unit. Peel off the other side and
stick the doorbell unit onto the surface.
4. Press the button to ring the
doorbell.
Please note - Its recommended to
avoid mounting the doorbell unit onto
metal surfaces or UPVC door frames
as this will reduce the operating
range.

1. Mount the doorbell unit near a point of entrance. Avoid areas that may get wet as
the doorbell unit is not waterproof. Avoid mounting onto metal surfaces or UPVC door
frames.
2. Plug the speaker unit into a spare power socket and turn the power on. The LED will
flash and a chime will play.
3. Press the doorbell button to activate the speaker unit. If the speaker unit does not
activate, move the speaker unit to a power socket that is closer to the doorbell unit and
try again.
4. Press the chime selection button (2) to select a different chime.
5. Press the volume button (3) to select the desired volume level.
Adding an additional speaker unit - To enter learning mode, follow the instructions
on page one. There is no limit on the number of speaker units that can be paired to a
single doorbell unit.
Adding an additional doorbell unit - To enter learning mode, follow the instructions on
page one. A maximum of three doorbell units can be paired to a single speaker unit.
Please note - Unplugging and re-plugging the speaker unit will reset all settings that
were previously made. Any additional speaker and or doorbell units paired will still
remain.
Troubleshooting

The speaker unit is not playing a chime when the doorbell is pressed.
Make sure the speaker unit is plugged in and turned on
Make sure the speaker unit is within the specified range
Make sure the speaker unit is not in silent mode
The speaker unit is working intermittently when the doorbell is pressed.
Avoid mounting the doorbell unit onto metal surfaces
Avoid mounting the doorbell unit onto UPVC door frames
Place the speaker unit closer to the doorbell unit as walls, doors and ceilings will
reduce the operating range
The indicator LED doesn’t turn on when the doorbell is pressed.
Make sure the speaker unit is plugged in and turned on

digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential in-
stallation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency en-
ergy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause
harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined
by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna
Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which
the receiver is connected
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help
These devices comply with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the
following two conditions:
(1) These devices may not cause harmful interference.
(2) These devices must accept any interference received, including interference
that may cause undesired operation.

Limited Warranty - Terms & Conditions
Swann Communications warrants this product against defects in workmanship
and material for a period of one (1) year from its original purchase date. You must
present your receipt as proof of purchase for warranty validation. Any unit which
proves defective during the stated period will be repaired without charge for parts
or labour or replaced at the sole discretion of Swann. The end user is responsible
for all freight charges incurred to send the product to Swann’s repair centres. The
end user is responsible for all shipping costs incurred when shipping from and to
any country other than the country of origin.
The warranty does not cover any incidental, accidental or consequential damages
arising from the use of or the inability to use this product. Any costs associated
with the fitting or removal of this product by a tradesman or other person or any
other costs associated with its use are the responsibility of the end user. This
warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product only and is not transfer-
able to any third party. Unauthorized end user or third party modifications to any
component will render all warranties void. By law some countries do not allow
limitations on certain exclusions in this warranty.
For Australia: Our goods come with guarantees which cannot be excluded under
Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major
failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or dam-
age. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail
to be of acceptable quality.
