Glue the side frames into place, then attach the
“I” frames to the front / rear so their bases align
with the etched line. The thinner side of the “I”
is the base.
Painting
It is much easier to paint the insert sections of this building prior to assembly.
The wooden sections were left on the sprue and painted with a standard DIY garden shed wood stain.
The white sections were also left on the sprue and sprayed white using a car undercoat spray.
The outer frames remained unpainted.
The roof was fully assembled before spraying being sprayed with a black car undercoat spray.
If you would like a slate roof, then drybrush with a dark grey colour, before dry-brushing with a lighter grey (both DIY
emulsion).
If you would prefer a pantile roof, then drybrush with a chocolate brown colour before dry-brushing with a red colour (both
DIY emulsion)
