Product and Documentation Revision
SKOV A/S reserve the right to change this document and the product herein described without further notice.
In case of doubt, please contact SKOV A/S.
Date of change appears from the front and back of this manual. It was released in 2012.
IMPORTANT
NOTE CONCERNING ALARM SYSTEM
Where climatic control is used in livestock buildings, breakdowns, malfunctions or faulty settings may cause
substantial damage and financial losses. It is therefore most important to install a separate, independent alarm
system, which monitors the climate in the livestock house concurrently with the climate computer. According
to EU-directive No. 98/58/EU an alarm system must be installed in all mechanically ventilated houses.
SKOV A/S would like to draw your attention to the fact that the product liability clause of general terms and
conditions of sale and delivery from SKOV A/S specifies that an alarm system must be installed.
In case of operating error or improper use, ventilation systems can result in production loss or
cause loss of lives among animals.
SKOV A/S recommend that ventilation systems should be mounted, operated and serviced only
by trained staff and that a separate emergency opening unit and an alarm system be installed as
well as maintained and tested at regular intervals, according to SKOV A/S terms and conditions
of sale and delivery.

Dynamic Air Kit
1 Product Description
The Dynamic Air sensor is available in two different versions with different measuring ranges: one for use on
chimneys and one for use on take-offs in connection with a central duct for central exhaust.
When using Dynamic Air, a pressure sensor is placed in one or more of the stepless air outlets. The climate
computer uses the measurement of the current pressure in the chimney to calculate the air output and thus to
optimise the air change in the house without the use of any moving mechanical components and without
increasing air resistance in the air outlet.
Dynamic Air - kit for bell mouth/chimney
Pressure sensor for retrofitting in chimneys in houses where measurement of pressure levels in air outlets is
desired. The pressure sensor is mounted on the bell mouth in one or several stepless chimneys.
This kit is used together with a software update for the DOL 53X, DOL 63X and DOL 234/DOL 234F climate
computers (versions 6.1/7.1or later).
Dynamic Air - kit for bell mouth/duct
Pressure sensor for retrofitting on take-offs in houses with central exhaust.
When a Dynamic Air bell mouth/duct sensor is installed per section, the actual volume of air can be measured
per section, and it can be regulated via fan revolutions/shutter position in the take-offs.
This kit is used together with a software update for the DOL 53X, DOL 63X and DOL 234F climate computer
(version 7.2 or later).
2 Mounting Guide
If only one sensor is used to regulate two stepless air outlets, the positions of these outlets must be comparable
in relation to wind impacts as climate computer will then base its control on a calculated output.
2.1 Checking Parts
Check that the ordered parts have been received and that they are in undamaged condition before the

The Dynamic Air sensor is maintenance-free and does not require calibration.
It stands high-pressure cleaning. Avoid spraying on the edge of the cover from the back.
Clean the socket piece carefully with an Ø8mm drill bit, in case it lutes.
7 Trouble Shooting Instructions
If the sensor measures less than expected:
Check the measurement by setting the system to manual control and running it at max. and min. air
output.
Check if the read-out on the house computer corresponds to what is expected.
Check if the flap opening corresponds to what is expected.
Check if the socket piece inside the exhaust unit has luted.
