1 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This User Guide deals with the installation and connection of the distribution shutter.
Using a motordriven distibution shutter enables the feed weigher to deliver food to two feeding systems.
2 Electric Connection
Installation, service and troubleshooting of electrical equipment must be carried out by expert
staff in compliance with applicable national regulations – in Europe, this would be EN 60204-1
or other current EU regulations.
A supply separator must be installed for each motor and power supply to facilitate voltage-free
work on the electrical equipment. Supply separators are not supplied by the company.

3 Adjustment of the Distribution Shutter
Adjust the distribution shutter as follows:
1. Loosen the two nuts on the axle between winch motor and the distribution shutter. See Figure 4.
2. Follow the instructions under Testing in the Technical Manual for the controller.
3. When the winch motor stops, turn the distribution shutter manually to the feeding system 1 position
(usually to the right). See Figure 5.
4. Tighten the two nuts again. See Figure 4.

Checking adjustment:
1. Running time for turning from one extreme position to another must not exceed 90 sec.
2. The winch motor must reach the end stop when the distribution shutter is in its extreme positions.
3. Turn the distribution shutter by activation via the computer, as for adjustment of the distribution
shutter.
4. If the distribution shutter scrapes against the sides when turned, this will be because the distribution
shutter has been tightened askew; correct the tightening.
