Below you will find brief information for G4 Smart Video Doorbell G4. The Aqara Smart Video Doorbell G4 supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and connects directly to the Aqara Home app without a hub. It uses a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi protocol for communication between the doorbell, repeater, and router. Face recognition is performed locally, but displaying and marking faces requires a cloud connection. The doorbell can use AA batteries or rechargeable lithium batteries and can also be powered externally. The repeater should be within 5 meters from the doorbell. You can upload up to 5 custom ringtones (max 2MB each). The microSD card slot is located on the repeater supporting up to 128GB exFat and FAT32. The doorbell is recommended to be installed in shaded areas.
