28mm Ancient City Walls – Corner Bastion (Square)

Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.

PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.

Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.

A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care and remember

to cut away from yourself at all times.

During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in place while

you allow glue to dry.

Remove the pieces shown above from the sprue.

Glue them together as shown above.

Take the corner support and rear wall pieces.

Glue them together.

Attach all the components constructed so far to

the base.

Take the side supports.

Glue two on to each side using the holes provided.

Add the walkway.

The front wall sections.

Glue them into position.

The side wall sectons.

Attach them to the model.

Take the upper strips.

Add them to the model.

The finished model.

Painting:

Once constructed we sprayed our model white (car undercoat aerosol) then did a heavy drybrush of a

dark chocolate colout over the entire model.

After this had dried, a lighter drybrush of a milk chocolate colour was applied, followed by a cream

colour.

Wood work was picked out in the milk chocolate colour again, and a brown ink was applied to the

mortar course between the stones.
