Thank you for purchasing this unit. Please read
through the user manual in order to understand the
functions of your new MP3/MP4 player.

Adding Your Files to the Player
When connected to a PC, the player acts like a
standard USB-Disk drive, supporting Windows 98
(driver needed), Windows 2000 and above systems
(no driver needed), Mac OS 10.3, Linux Redhat 8.0
or above.
Once your player is detected, you can simply drag
and drop or cut and paste the files that you wish to
insert into the player.
Buttons
The player functions are done by simply pressing or
holding down the buttons on the players. The
effects of holding or pressing on the buttons vary per
function.
MENU: pressing the button will allow you to enter
sub menus or select options. Holding down on the
menu button will let you return to the main menu.
: Pressing these buttons will let you
scroll through music selection, options, volume
settings, and radio stations.
VOL: pressing the button in certain menus will
allow you to change the volume.
: Pressing the button will start and stop music
or videos. Holding down this button will shutdown
the player.
Turning on the Player
To turn on the player, simply switch the player to the

“ON” position. The on/off switch is located on the
top left of the player. If your player is already
switched on, hold down on the play button.
Charging the Player
Your unit can be charged through either a USB
charger or by being directly connected to the
computer. Please note that charging times vary
between these to methods. Also, to charge the
player, make sure that your player is on the “ON”
position in order for charging to take place.
Main Menu
Below are the options that can be found on your
player. Please note that certain options may have
changed without notice.
Music: Listen to your music files
AMV: Watch your video files
Record: Record from the built-in
microphone
Voice: Listen to your recordings
FM Radio: Listen to the radio
Photo: View your pictures
Setup: Change settings on your player
E-Book: Read text files
Game: Play a game on your player
To select an option from the main menu, scroll to the
option that you want and press the MENU button. To
enter the sub menus, you will need to press the menu
button after selecting an option from the main menu.
Music
MENU: Press to enter the sub menu. Hold to
return to the main menu. Press in a sub menu to
confirm an option.
: Scroll through music selection.
VOL: Allows you to enter the volume menu.
: Will start and pause your music
Sub Menu
When music is not playing, you can select which
folder to play or delete files. While music is playing,
you can set the repeat mode, equalizer, tempo rate,
and replay types. Hold down on the menu button to
return to the main menu.

NOTE: In order to view your video files, you must
first convert the file and movie size. Please see the
section titled “Video Conversion” for more
information.
MENU: Press to enter the sub menu. Hold to
return to the main menu. Press in a sub menu to
confirm an option.
: Scroll through your video files.
VOL: Allows you to enter the volume menu. You
can only enter this menu when a video is not
playing.
: Will start and pause your video.
Sub Menu
You can only go enter the sub menu and change the
volume settings when a video is not playing on the
screen. You can select which folder to play or delete
files from the sub menu.
Record
MENU: Press to enter the sub menu. Hold to
return to the main menu. Press in a sub menu to
confirm an option. Press after recording to save your
recording.
: Sub menu only. Scroll through
options.
: Will start and pause recording.
Sub Menu
From this sub menu, you can select where you would
like files to be saved and the record type.
Record Types
Fine Recording - WAV Format - High sound quality
Long recording - ACT Format - Consistent quality
Fine VOR - WAV Format - Sound control
Long VOR - ACT Format - Sound control
(VOR mode is a sound activated recording)
FM Radio
NOTE: Headphones act as the antenna for the player.
MENU: Press to enter the sub menu. Hold to
return to the main menu. Press in a sub menu to
confirm an option.
: Scroll through radio stations. Hold
down to auto search.
VOL: Allows you to enter the volume menu.
: Will scroll through your saved stations.

Sub Menu
In the sub menu, you can auto search for stations,
save up to 20 stations as presets, delete your presets,
and enter the recording menu so that you can record
from the radio station.

MENU: Press to enter the sub menu. Hold to
return to the main menu. Press in a sub menu to
confirm an option.
: Scroll through the pictures.
: View the current selected picture.
Sub Menu
The sub menu allows you to select a different folder
to view, delete files, and start the slideshow option
through Play Set.

Below are brief descriptions of the settings that can
be changed from the Set Up menu.
- System Time – set the time and date
- LCD Set – change the brightness and
the time (in seconds) before the player
screen to turns dark when idle.
- Language – change the language of the
player
- Power Off – Change the time (in
seconds) for when the player will turn
off when idle.
- Replay Mode – chose between manual
and auto replay
- Memory Info – View how much
memory remains.
- Firmware Version – View the firmware
version.
- Firmware Upgrade – Prepare the player
for a firmware upgrade.

In order to be able to play video files, you will need
to use the program that is on the CD. Click on AMV
Tool folder and run the setup.exe.
1. Once the setup is complete, locate the newly
installed MP3 Player Utilities and click on AMV
convert tool.
2. Click on the "Input file" icon to find the file that
you are looking to covert and click on "Output file"
icon and save the file to your.
3. Now click on the icon with two arrows (tooltip
will show "Begin" if you put your cursor on the
arrows) to start the conversion. Once the conversion
is done the program will play with the AMV player.
Note: Please click on help for further information; it
is the square box next to the two arrows.
4. To transfer the converted AMV file onto your
player, first connect the Visual Land player to your
computer and copy and paste the AMV file onto the
player folder.
5. To access the AMV file from your Visual Land
player, go onto the "Movie" menu of the player, the
file should show up. Press "Play" to view your file.
Troubleshooting
Cannot fit more than 99 files onto the player.
To fix this problem, create a new folder on your
player and insert your files in there. Please do not
insert a subfolder within a subfolder as it may cause
problems with your player.
Short battery life
The screen can drain the battery life of your player.
To increase the battery life, we suggest that you
change the brightness, and the time it takes for the
player screen to turn off when idle.
Firmware Upgrade
We strongly recommend that you only download
Visual Land approved firmware. Downloading any
other firmware may harm your player.

Adición de tus archivos al Reproductor
Cuando está conectado a una PC, el reproductor
actúa como un disco duro. Cuando su computadora
detecta el reproductor, puede arrastrar o copiar su
archivos al fólder de el reproductor.
Botones
Las funciones del reproductor están hechas
simplemente por apretando los botones. Tendrá que
apretar o sostener los botones apretados para hacer
las funciones de el reproductor. Los efectos de
sostener o de presionar los botones varían por el
menú que este viendo.
MENU: Apretando el botón permite que entre al
submenú o confirma su selección cuando esta en un
menú. Manteniendo el botón de menú presionado te
dejará volver al menú principal.
: Usando estos te dejará navegar su
música, las opciones, el ajuste del volumen, y las
estaciones de radio.
VOL: Usando este botón en algunos menús te dejara
ajustar el volumen.
: Este botón comenzará y parará música o
videos. Manteniendo esta botón apaga el
reproductor.
Para Encender el Reproductor
Para encender el reproductor, simplemente cambia el
reproductor a la posición de "ON". Si el
reproductor esta en la posición de on, mantenga el

Su modelo puede estar cargado a través de el
cargador USB o por la conexión que esta echa a
través de su computadora. El tiempo que el
reproductor estará cargando es diferente
dependiendo de el modo que decide de cargar.
También, siempre tenga su reproductor en la
posición de "ON" para que pueda cargar.

Para seleccionar una opción de el menú principal,
mueva a la opción que quiere y oprima el botón de
Menú. Para entrar al submenú, tendrá que oprimar
el botón de menú después de seleccionar una opción
de el menú principal.

Submenú
Cuando no esta tocando musica, el submenú te deja

tempo de la musica, y como quiere que su musica
sea repetida. Mantenga el botón de menú apretado
para regresar al menú principal.
AMV
IMPORTANTE: en orden para que pueda ver sus
videos, tiene que convertir su video en un fórmate
que el reproductor puede reconocer. Para mas
información, por favor lea la sección de Conversión
de Video.
MENU: Oprima para entrar al submenú.
Matengalo apretado para regresar al menú principal.
Apreté el botón para confirmar su selección cuando
este en el submenú.
: Navegar entre sus videos
VOL: Te deja entrar el menú para ajustar el volumen.
Solo puede entrar a este menú cuando no esta viendo
un video.
: Reproducir o pausar tu video.
Submenú
Solo puede entra el submenú y ajustar el volumen
cuando no ay un video en la pantalla. En el submenú,
puede seleccionar el fólder que quiere ver o borrar
un video.
Record
MENU: Oprima para entrar al submenú.
Manténgalo apretado para regresar al menú principal.
Aprieta el botón para confirmar su selección en el
submenú. Aprieta después de su grabación para
guardarlo en la memoria del reproductor.
: Solo en el submenú. Navegar sobre
las opciones.
: Empieza y pausa la grabación.
Submenú
En el menu secondario, puede seleccionar donde
quiere que las grabaciones vallan cuando esta listo
para guardar. Tambien, puede seleccionar el formata
de la grabacion.

FM Radio
IMPORTANTE: Los audífonos actúan como la
antena para el reproductor.
MENU: Aprieta para entrar al submenú.
Manténgalo apretado para regresar al menú principal.
Aprieta el botón para confirmar su selección en el
submenú.

En el submenú, puede buscar por estaciones, guardar
hasta 20 diferente estaciones, y grabar lo que
escucha en el radio.

Submenú
El submenú te deja seleccionar un diferente fólder
para ver, borrar fotos, y empezar la opción para ver
sus fotos como un álbum.
Set Up
Debajo están las breve descripciones de los ajustes
que se pueden cambiar del sistema en este menú.
- System Time – Cambia la hora y fecha
- LCD Set – Cambia el brillo y el tiempo
(en segundos) para que la pantalla se
obscura cuando el reproductor no esta
usado.
- Idioma – Cambia el idioma.
- Apagar – Cambia el tiempo (en
segundos) que el reproductor se apague
cuando no esta usado.
- Modo Repet. – Escoja el modo de
repetición
- Info Memoria – Vea cuanto de memoria
queda en el reproductor

- Version Firm – Vea la version de su
firmware.
- Mejorar – Prepare el reproductor para
cambiar su firmware.

MENU: Aprieta el botón para confirmar su

Conversión de Video
Para poder reproducir los videos, necesita utilizar el
programa que está en el CD. Encuentre el fólder
llamado AMV Tool y enciende el programa llamado
Setup.exe.
1. Cuando el programa este instalado, encuentre el
fólder que este llamado "MP3 Player Utilities" y
oprima en "AMV convert tool".
2. Oprima en "Input file" y encuentre el video que
quiere convertir. Después, oprima en "Output File"
para escoger donde quiere guardar su video.
3.Ahorra oprima en la figura de las dos flechas (el
tooltip ensañara "Begin" si tiene su cursor sobre la
figura) Cuando la conversión este completa, el
programa te ensañara como se ve el nuevo video.
4. Para transferir el video que esta convertido a el
formato de AMV, primero conecta tu reproductor
con tu computadora, y arrastre el nuevo video al
fólder de el reproductor.
5. Para poder ver el video en el reproductor, tiene
que entrar al menú de AMV y apretar
