Statement
I. Thank you for purchasing the B05ST Digital Audio Player
produced by AGPTEK. Before using the player, please read the
manual carefully. If you have any question or any idea about
this product, please email [email protected]. We look
forward to hearing from you!
II. We strongly suggest you to back up the data in case there is
accident happening on the Digital Audio Player. We are afraid
that we could not bear responsibilities for data loss due to
mistaken operation or hardware damage.
Charge the player
1. Charge by computer
Connect the player to a running computer via included USB cable.
2. Use 5V/500mA charger (The charger is not included).
Data transfer
Connect to the computer via the USB cable. Copy the music and other
files you need to transfer in the computer, and then paste in the player,
or just drag and drop the music files or folders directly when connected
to computer.
NOTE: Do not disconnect your player during the transferring process. If
you do, the file being transferred will be damaged.
Insert/Remove Micro SD Card
Insert the Micro SD card into its slot and push inward, the deck will
automatically lock the Micro SD card; when remove the card, push
inward and then let go, the card will automatically pop up.
NOTE: Please insert the memory card while the player is off, or it
may not able to read the data.

1. Power button
Short press to turn on/off the screen display;
long press to power on/off.
2. Reset hole
Poke to reset the player.
3. Button
Tap to go back; hold to go back to the Home
menu directly.
4. Button
Scroll up; volume+.
5. Button
On Home Menu, tap to browse item; on the
music playing interface, tap to play the
previous track or hold to fast rewind.
6. Button
Enter/ confirm; play/pause.
7. Button
Tap to enter submenu; hold to lock/unlock
the screen display.
8. Button
On Home Menu, tap to browse item; on the
song screen, tap to play the next track or
hold to fast forward.
9. Button
Scroll down; Volume-.

Support external memory card up to 128 GB

Home menu
There are 9 items on the Home menu, including “Music”, FM
radio”, “Folder, “Recordings”, “Bluetooth”, Pictures”, Tools,
“EBook and “Settings”. Tap button / / / to select and tap
button to enter.
NOTE: When on Home Menu and there is music playing/paused on
the background, you could go back to the playback interface by
hold the button .
Music
1. On the music interface, the related list will show: All songs, Now
playing, Artists, Albums, Genres, Playlists, Update playlist.
2. Submenu. While its on music playing interface, tap the button
to enter the submenu. The related list will show: Back to home,
Play mode, Sound settings (Equalizer / Variable speed playback /
Volume limit), Delete, Bookmarks, Add to playlist, Remove from
playlist.
3. The player supports simultaneous display of “*.LRC lyrics.
Filename of (“*.LRC”) lyrics file shall be consistent with song name.
The player would automatically identify lyrics file with the same
name of the song.
4. Repeat settings (A-B repeat). A-B repeat mode supports to
repeat any sections of an audio file. Procedures are as follows:
When on audio playing interface, tap button to enter the
submenu. Enter Play mode>Repeat settings
- Replay Mode: Set A-B repeat period. Tap button to confirm
the starting time A when A is flashing. Then tap the button to
set the ending time B when B is flashing. The passage from time A
to B will be repeated automatically. Tap the button again to
back to normal playback.
- Replay times: Set the replay times from 1 to 10.
- Replay intervals: Set the replay interval from 1 to 10 s.
Radio
1. On FM radio interface, the related list will show: Station list,

Manual tune, Auto tune, FM Recording.
2. Submenu. On the radio playing interface, tap the button to
enter the submenu. The related list will show: Bluetooth link, Save
FM radio recording, Save to station list, Clear preset, Auto tune,
Tuner Region and FM recording.
3. On radio playing interface, tap button switch among the
stations saved in Station list; tap button / to fine-tune the
stations; hold button / to switch to previous or next saved
station; tap button / to adjust volume.
NOTE:
1.While searching manually or automatically, an wired headphone
need to be inserted into the player as an antenna. When you
select auto-tune and confirm, the previous station list will be
cleared and updated.
2.To listen radio via Bluetooth, enter the submenu of the FM radio
and choose Bluetooth link to enable Bluetooth.
Bluetooth
On Bluetooth interface, the related list will show:
1. Bluetooth status. Choose to turn on/off Bluetooth.
2. Bluetooth search. Search the nearby devices, then all of the
devices which has enable its Bluetooth will be listed.
3. Bluetooth device list. Choose from the available devices and tap
the button to connect/disconnect.
4. All music. After successfully connected, this player is ready to
play music via Bluetooth. Tap button to enter and play music.
5. Music. Choose to enter music playing interface.
NOTE: Please open the Bluetooth of the device you want to
connect first. Bluetooth function will be disabled when you exit the
Bluetooth interface.
Recordings
On FM radio interface, the related list will show: Start voice
recording, Recordings library, Record format. Choose “Start voice
recording with button to start recording, tap button stop/
continue. In the process of recording, tap the button or to

choose to save the file or not. In “Record format, you can set
recording format to MP3 (32/ 64/ 128/ 192kbps) and WAV (512/
768/ 1024/ 1536kbps), the default is MP3 128kbps.
Pictures
Only support format JPG/JPEG/BMP.
On picture viewing interface, tap button / to view previous /
next picture; tap button to enter the submenu, including:
Brightness, Slideshow settings, Delete picture, Update playlist.
Video
Only support format AMI/AMV(128*160).
You can find the Video function in Tool on the Home Menu. On text
playing interface, tap button to play/pause; tap button / to
play previous/next video file; hold to fast rewind/forward; tap
button / to adjust volume; tap button to enter the
submenu, including: Brightness, Repeat, Delete video, Update
playlist.
EBook
Only support txt format.
On text playing interface, tap button / to turn to previous/next
page; tap button to turn the page automatically; tap button
to enter the submenu, including: Auto playtime settings, Delete
ebook, Bookmark Select, Delete bookmark, Add bookmark and
Select page.
Settings
1. Language. Choose the language you need.
2. Date and time: Choose Date settings to set date format and
date. To set date, tap button / to switch among
month|day|year, tap button / to adjust the value of
month|day|year. Set time under Time settings and adjust the
time in the same way.
3. Display settings. Set brightness, backlight time and screensaver.
4. Button lights. Choose to turn on/off button backlight.
5. Shutdown settings

- Power off: When there is no operation on the device, the device
will shut off automatically when reaches the set time.
- Sleep timer: The device will shut down automatically when
reaches the set time.
6. Radio background. Choose to turn on/off radio background. If
you choose the option On, the radio will continue playing when
you exit the FM radio.
7. Information. Check player information and disk space about
your player.
8. Format device. Format the player and all the files saved will be
cleared. Note: Before formatting the device, please backup the file.
9. Factory settings. Restore to factory settings.
Troubleshooting
a. How to re-choose the language?
Find this icon on the Home Menu, and tap button to access
to its menu, scroll down to the last item. Tap button to enter
and tap button to choose the first(upper) option which means
"Yes" . Tap button again to confirm and restore to factory
settings, the player will power on automatically and the language
setting interface will show up for you to re-choose a language.
b. If your AGPTEK player has stopped responding and does not
work, you can reset the player to fix it.
1. Reset the player by poking the reset hole with a pointed object
and holding down until the screen goes off and on again; or hold
down the power button for about 10s to reboot the player.
NOTE: Resetting the player will put the system back to default
settings. Resetting the player will not delete the files or data you
saved in the player. Do not reset the player during normal
operation or it could cause memory damage.
2. Update / flash the firmware.

c. Disk error
If the screen says "Disk error", please format the player. Find it in
"settings">"Format device".

Please shutdown the device before you insert the memory card.
d. Songs can’t be recognized by the player
Please check if the song format is supported by this player, or the
file is damaged.
