Known Limitations and Issues
The table below highlights new known limitations or issues that were uncovered when testing
4.30 Software Update 3. The first group of issues are unique to the Bosch and VideoEdge
cameras, whereas the second group cover a wider range of cameras.
Known limitations and issues may exist from other releases. Please refer to the specific release
for the appropriate information.
7275 - VEIPCH2: Appro IP PE R200 - Start
up issue with 16 Appro cameras assigned
None
7276 - VEIPCH2: Bosch -> Frames rates
returning a maximum of 15 ips for NTSC
cameras and 13 ips for PAL
None
7316 - VEIPCH2: Bosch: VG4-513-ECE2W -
Camera controls do not work the first time
you connect

Times” for more information.
7346 - VEIPCH2: Appro ADCIPEBPN -
Video loss on 16 camera overnight soak test
affecting only ADCIPEBPN
Issue with IP PE860 – see “VideoEdge IP Camera
Performance” section above. Workaround is use
rate of 12FPS or 10FPS. Ensure updated drivers
installed. Enabled infrared functionality for
overnight conditions.
7391 - VEIPCH2: Appro Camera showing
green screen momentarily after viewing or
changing properties in IP sources

7338 - VEIPCH2: Appro cameras - Camera
Setup : Can use incorrect Username and
Password
None
7284 - VEIPCH2: Bosch: VG4-513-ECE2W -
Issues when attempting to create preset via
PTZ camera control
Exit preset OSD controls back to Iris/Focus OSD
controls and select either Iris for Yes or Focus for
No when camera requests confirmation on
screen. See “Bosch IP VG4-500i Messages”
section above.
7305 - VEIPCH2: Appro IP PE860 - Video
feed not centred correctly in defined pane
for Appro cameras
Camera issue. Documented in “Centering Video
images” section above.
7401 - VEIPCH2: Green screen issue
triggers alarm
See section “Green flicker when startup or
changing settings” above. When alarms are set up
on a VideoEdge camera (Motion, Perimeter, Light
Change), and the user has clicked OK, the
momentary green screen can trigger an alarm,
