How to Replace Monoshell for Zeph Chair

Power Driver 5mm Hex Bit T-30 Bit
Step 1:
Disengage the 3D knit by liing the le and right sides of the knit over the
edge of the shell, continue releasing the knit up and down the le and right
sides of the back and seat until it is fully disengaged.
Step 2:
Open one end of the upholstery clip by pushing forward while pulling
outward to disengage hook. Then release the other end to unsnap the clip to
remove the 3D Knit.

Step 4:
Using a mallet hit both side of the chair and pull o the cylinder assembly
from the tilt assembly.
Step 5:
Detach the cylinder assembly.
Step 3:
Detach the 3D Knit.
Step 6:
Using the flat screwdriver release snaps in the below location shown.

Step 7:
Detach the fender.
Step 9:
Rotate the tilt assembly upward and move it out to detach from the
monoshell.
Step 8:
Using Trox bit remove all six 1/4-20 pan head screws using 5mm Hex bit and
M6 X 25 flat head screw using T-30 bit to detach the tilt assembly.
Disassembly for Recycling:
Materials Identication and Segregation:
Where possible, plastic components are marked with ASTM recycling
codes. Use these codes to identify material type for recycling. Non
marked components should be treated as mixed plastic. Ferrous metals
can be identied using a small magnet for recycling. Non-ferrous metals
should be separated and recycled separately. To disassemble product,
reverse the above installation steps

Detach the T Nuts from the monoshell.

Step 13:
Tighten all six 1/4-20 pan head screws using 5mm Hex bit and M6 X 25 flat
head screw using T-30 bit to attach the tilt assembly.

Replace new monoshell and attach the T nuts in the slot.
Step 12:
Replace the new tilt assembly and x it to the chair.

Attach the fender.

Step 16:
Replace the 3D knit by engaging it around the top and bottom edges of the
chair, ensuring the full perimeter is engaged.
Step 15:
Place the monoshell assembly onto the cylinder. Sit in chair to engage
tapers (cylinder/tilt and cylinder/base).
Step 17:
Push the center area around the rear edge of the seat with one hand while
snapping the clip in with the other hand into one slot shown in step 18.
Repeat for the other side.
Step 18:
The New 3D knit is replaced.
