How to Disassemble ZephTM Chair/Stool
Tools Required
Step 1:
Pull out and remove all the casters.
Mallet
Flat Screw Driver Power Driver
5mm Hex Bit T-30 Bit
Nylon cap
Step 2:
Strike using a mallet on the nylon cap placed on the cylinder to release the
base from the cylinder.

Step 3:
Detach the Base.
Step 5:
Detach the cylinder cover.
Step 4:
Using a mallet hit both side of the chair and pull o the cylinder from the
chair.
Step 6: (Stool)
Strike using a mallet on the nylon cap placed on the cylinder to release the
base from the cylinder.
Step 7:
Detach the base assembly from the cylinder assembly.
Step 8:
Using a mallet hit both side of the chair and pull o the cylinder assembly
from the tilt assembly.
Step 9:
Detach the footrest assembly from the cylinder assembly.
Step 10:
Detach the cylinder cover.

Step 12:
Open one end of the upholstery clip by pushing forward while pulling
outward to disengage hook. Then release the other end to unsnap the clip to
remove the 3D knit.
Step 11:
Disengage the 3D knit by liing the ends of the knit over the seat. Repeat the
process for the back until it is fully disengaged.

Step 13: (With Arm)
Detach the 3D knit.
Step 14:
Disengage the 3D knit by liing the le and right sides of the knit over the
edge of the shell, continue releasing the knit up and down the le and right
sides of the back and seat until it is fully disengaged.

Step 15:
Open one end of the upholstery clip by pushing forward while pulling
outward to disengage hook. Then release the other end to unsnap the clip to
remove the 3D Knit.

Step 16:
Detach the 3D Knit, Mono shell and the upholstery clip
Step 17:
Disengage the 3D knit seat pad by liing the ends of the knit over the edge
of the seat.
Step 18:
Detach the 3D knit seat pad.

Step 19:
Detach the cushion and replace with the new cushion placed center to the
3D knit seat pad and inserted inside the fold as shown in the g 2. Honey
comb texture in the cushion should be kept outside.

Step 20:
Using the flat screwdriver release snaps in the below location shown.
Step 21:
Detach the fender.
Step 22:
Using Trox bit remove all six 1/4-20 pan head screws using 5mm Hex bit and
M6 X 25 flat head screw using T-30 bit to detach the tilt assembly.

Step 23:
Rotate the tilt assembly upward and move it out to detach from the chair.
Step 24:
Removed the T-nuts by sliding them outward
Step 25:
Li the damper out to detach.
Step 26:
Remove the screws.

Step 29:
Remove the spring.
Step 27:
Remove the clip out.
Step 28:
Rotate the handle and slide it out.
Step 30:
Slide to disengage and then li the hub up out of the housing.

Step 31:
Detach the hub.
Step 32:
Slide the bushing outwards to remove it.
