100V LINE AMPLIFIER
MP30/MP60/MP120 MODULE
FUNCTION
100 VOLTS AMPLIFIER MODULE WITHOUT TO NEED A MATCHING TRANSFORMER.
DESCRIPTION
Opposite to the most part of 100 volt line amplifiers, this module doesn’t need matching
transformer. This means a higher sound quality due a transformer increases clipping and
frequency distortion at low frequencies. This means less weight as well. There is not
floating output due to it doesn’t use a bridge structure.
The system permits to select up to five BGM programs (4 BGM plus no-music) and to
assign them to 12 zones.
The BGM is attenuated or completely attenuated when a message or alarm is being sent.
This module has an anticlip and DC OUT protection circuit as well.
The amplifier incorporates a 50 Hz subsonic filter to avoid the possible saturation of the
speaker matching transformers when replaying very low frequencies.
Available at 30/60/120W.

CONNECTING THE MP30/MP60/MP120
To carry out the connection of this module you should follow the steps indicated in the figure on next page.
Define the musical program number (one of the existing in the installation) you wish to use as background music in the zone
with the jumpers marked with nr.1. Place a jumper in the desired musical program number. For example: If you want this
module to have BGM number 2, you should place one jumper in J115.
Define the zone associated to this amplifier. For example: If you want this amplifier to act in zone 3, insert a jumper in
J104 (marked with nr.2 on next page).
ATTENTION: Each amplification module can be assigned to just one zone.
Choose now the possibility to either hear or hear not the BGA messages in the selected zone by means of the jumper (ON
or OFF) marked with nr.3.
ATTENTION: Essential to place this jumper in ON or OFF. If it were not put this jumper, the module would not work
correctly.
