FUNCTION
MODULE TO CONNECT BACKGROUND MUSIC TO PABX (Telephone Switching Board)
FOR WAITING TIMES.
DESCRIPTION
It permits to send any of the 4 BGM programs to the PABX.
The signal output is isolated by transformer.
There is a control to adjust the optimum sound level.

CONNECTING THE MSC1
To carry out the connection of this module you should follow the steps indicated in the figure on next page.
Define the musical program number (one of the existing in the installation) you wish to use as background music during
waiting times with the jumpers marked with nr.1. Place a jumper in the desired musical program number. For example: If
you want this module to have BGM number 3, you should place a jumper in J105.
Insert and screw the module and the chassis together in the front and back panels.
Connect the data buses (Flat 10- and 20-way cables) to the connectors marked with nr.2 in the figure on next page.
Link together the front and back panel. In this case you will have to connect following connector pair marked with nr.3:
J106-TS101.
Next, carry out the connection between the module and the specific input on the PABX destined for this purpose. The
connection has to be performed with either a 4-way or 6-way cable with a 6-way RJ45 on both ends (on the PABX' end it
may be possible that you need another type of connector depending on the particular model). If you use a 4-way cable,
make sure you connect the middle pairs, not connecting pin 1 and 6.
Pin 2 of both connectors must share the same cable
colour, the rest of pins must be matched in the same
manner.

Once the complete installation of one or various chassis and the peripherals connections to ENVIRO has been carried out,
you should adjust the volume of this module.
