(A) Insert the
red cable
Z-tting into
the hole in the
Reverse Clutch
Lever.
(B) Insert the
black cable
Z-tting into
the hole in the
Forward Clutch
Bail.
Handle Support
Brackets
Loosely attach
lower handle to
frame using the
5/16-18 x .75
hex head cap
screws and
5/16-18 ange
lock nuts. Do
not tighten
hardware.
Attach upper
handle and handle
support brackets
to lower handle
using the 5/16-18
x 1.50 screws and
5/16-18 ange lock
nuts. Tighten all
hardware in Step 1
and Step 2.
(1) Snap red
cable connector
into upper hole
in cable bracket.
(2) Snap black
cable connector
into lower hole in
cable bracket.

Oil
Throttle
Choke
Move choke control to
full choke position.
Move throttle control
to rabbit (fast)
position.
Fill engine with entire contents of oil bottle supplied.
Do not overll.
Pull starter rope
with quick, full arm
stroke. It may take
more than one pull
to start cold engine.
Once started,
slowly move choke
control to off (run)
position.

Fill tank with gas until fuel reaches the fuel level
